I've been getting very tired, feeling very heavy, sleepy and fatigued after eating a meal, esp in the afternoon / evening.
It doesn't have to be a large meal!
The fatigue & heaviness is extreme & I feel as if I can't breathe & feel very slow too... feel as if I can barely move at all.
I also feel extremely full, overfull, as if I can't digest my food!
I've noticed this for the last month or so, it's affecting my energy levels & the work I'm getting done.
So I asked Yi for advice (Im already thinking to eat less, more often & maybe cut out things like cheese)
I got hexagram 28. 2. 4 transforming to hexagram 39

Something is too much, overwhelmed?
(I do feel as if I am retaining water too)

I was thinking maybe the full stomach energy is turning off the great loop meridian, the lesser chi, scattered liver chi, chi isn't rising...
line 2 talks about a withered tree sprouting shoots, perhaps my energy is scattered?

9 at 2: A withered poplar tree grows shoots. An old man gets a real woman as wife. Nothing that does not bear fruit.
This might mean that this enquiry will bear fruit?

9 at 4: The ridgepole is eminent. Auspicious. If there are snakes, distress.
When one is on the verge of something, small signs or doubts can take one off balance. One moment life is full and rich, next moment one realizes how vulnerable one is. Suddenly feeling old, or self-confidence melts away caused by a setback or an accident. This is not the end! Your spirit is alive, find it back again by choosing for life.
(Changes to hex.48)

I think it is confirming that I am overloading my system, food is too heavy?

Im unbalancing my system, one thing is too many?
Or eating a few mouthfulls too much?

Useful cast

Definitely sounds like something your eating your body is struggling to digest but it can be rectified if you cut back or eliminate this food altogether.
