The visual image of this reading really hit the nail on the head. The question is, which nail...

Recently, my dog went for a check up because he was starting to have intermittent nocturnal incontinence. The cause can be simply age (and canine alzheimers), a UTI, or a kidney issue. As a result, we discovered the night wee is largely age, but that he has developed since his last checkup less than a year ago chronic kidney disease. The vet didn't go all out with a zillion exams, my dog is 15 (but still going strong otherwise), also has some pulmonary fibrosis (he's a Cotton Westie mix, and that's a hereditary disease with Westies you can't do much about), and my vet is gentle with and respectful of my finances :)

With a high BUN rate in a dog who hardly drinks (he's been like that since puppyhood!), I figured the least we should do is support his kidneys before it comes to crisis time and flush the toxins out. That means 3 days in a row at the vet's so the dog can get proper fluids through IV.

As I waited in the parking lot for his first round to finish, I asked Yi: As a result, how will his BUN evolve? And Yi answered 29.6 (water/water image). So Yi got the question: dog getting water so he'll pee out toxins. Perfect image. And repeating chasms fits, this will go on for 3 days in a row, the chasm itself as an image possibly the crate at the vet instead of being out in the light with me.

Wilhem's interpretation of line 6 gives me the willies, while Legge is a little comforting in saying danger has reached its highest point (but there is no cure to chronic kidney problems, you can just try to slow the progress). So I'm not sure what to make of it in light of my question. Ditto the resulting hex of 59, dispersion (save for lifting leg to pee after IV, dispersing water all over the place!).

Is this going to help his BUN rate and help, at least for a time, flush out and disperse nasty toxins?

Thanks for your help people :)
(The "forum Famous" Cat brought back from the US was just lost without her "big brother" all day and their reunion was tremendously touching :) )

Aww, cat/dog friends

I don't know how 29.6 might describe a BUN rate (I've heard of that, as a word, but don't know what it is).

"As a result, how will his BUN evolve?"
"It will evolve...as something 'bound with good rope and cords' etc."

It somewhat sounds like it will have no effect at all (which, surely the vet knows better, through experience, or he wouldn't have suggested it?), or maybe that it won't have any effect until the three days are over, but you might not be able to confirm that one way or the other unless they check the BUN each of the 3 days?

I share your worry at the line ending with "pitfall."

59 might reflect "dispersing" the toxins, or "flooding" your dog with water, or...

I just had 29.1.6 for "Give me a picture of me actually paying my April rent," since I'm pretty sure I put in in the drop box on the 5th, but it's now the 10th and it hasn't cleared yet - and I have a bad memory and can't be positive I actually walked to the drop box and put it in...this month...

I don't know what mine means, either. That I misplaced the envelope on the way to the box? Just that it takes a while (has to go through various 'chasms'?), because it's a paper check, and there was a weekend involved, and I can't know what day the apt. manager actually took it to the bank?

I could call her and ask about it, but she's usually annoyed and I'm not terribly eager to be "annoyed at." Also, she'd surely call me if my rent really is missing. Am going to give it a few more days, but I still don't understand the reading.

None of that helps you. But surely you wanted an unresolved example to look at, right?? :bag:

I suppose if we were going by the letter of your question rather than the spirit, 29.6 could be describing this in biological terms, which we'd only understand if we were vets. "Evolve" could be very technical, I suppose. That's not how you meant it, of course.

Just had the hilarious thought that if the answer is from the point of view of the BUN rate, maybe that's how "pitfall" can be a good thing - for your dog! Poor dear BUN, it's very survival is in jeopardy.

BUN is blood urea nitrogen. It would be truly wonderful if it's survival were in jeopardy and it went down down down with the IV and weeing :) Off for day 2 of IV for my sweet dog...

I'm sorry, Liselle, I can't help you on your reading, save present the logical explanation -- the post office is slow, unreliable and inefficient. I always struggle with 29...
We're done with the 3 days of IV and tests right after showed the Bun and Creat rates were cut in half, which is really good. How long that effect will last, with a dog who hardly drinks, who knows. But it would seem (I'd love for experienced readers to chime in..) that my hopeful interpretation was not far off the mark.
