I am never sure what Yi is talking about...Of course it largely depends on the question..BUt is Yi always a self-medicating psychotherapy tool that tells you - to work on your fears OR it is an ultimate helper for you to make things better - in which case pointing at BAD persons or potential harm doers...
That's my biggest question...Would love to know your opinions...
IMO consulting Yi is a way to help you navigate your way through your life and to be in synch with the natural flow of things around you so you aren't constantly trying to swim upstream when there's a strong current. So potentially it can help you to know when to act or when to stop and rest. It can help you know the nature of the time you are in. It can help you realign yourself with outer and inner realities. So it is a guide FOR YOU. Therefore keep your questions about you and you will find it helpful.
Always put yourself in the centre of the question. Some more experienced people might ask about others intentions and feelings and feel they get good answers but personally I think there is no quicker way to misunderstanding the I Ching than for a relative newbie to keep asking about what other people are doing.
You can find that out in terms of what is relevant to you but putting yourself in that question. You feel you cannot trust someone do not not ask 'is he trustworthy ?' rather ask Yi if YOU can trust him.
Thank you people!!
Trojina, thanks I will write more on what you wrote
For now i askee Yi what you suggested
Can I Trust X?
I received 4.4.6 to 40
I dont like or understand 4...as if it tells me i am stupid...
But again 40!!! Going crazy...
Yi might really tell me I am stupid because of what??....could not figure out it myself about X? 4 means ignorance. 40- clear yourself of ignorance
Means i cannot trust this person. If its correct
