Interesting that you've got a hexagram pair. I'm never sure what this means, but always find it significant.

Well ... IMO you have something to look forward to in that domain

So ... Elias has provided an interpretation of Hex. 31.2 ... herewith line 5:

'Conjunction of one's neck. Without repenting. Comments: Conjunction of one's neck.
The purpose's tip indeed'. Resolute decision/action being located in the neck ('source of
strength-persist') , this implies that from 'residing significant' (line 2) you progress to a
situation where obstacles will be overcome, issues resolved and success will prevail.

This may sound blindly optimistic, well ... know that from my experience line 2 or 3 followed
by line 5 ultimately resulted in a positive/satisfactory outcome.

Initially you asked a question that would seem to require a 'yes' or 'no' answer. If a yes or no answer is all you want you could simply toss a coin. If you ask the Yi you will generally get more information than a straight 'yes' or a straight 'no'.

I think your original answer of 41.1.6>7 would generally not be about 'romance' as romance is about intense one to one interaction...which according to 41.6 isn't particularly where you are at right now. I like 41.6, its an interesting time where you get to know all sorts of new places, new people...its not a time for settling down , its a time for exploration. Not a lonley time at all since you find many sources of support just when you need them, that is what is meant by 'many friends'. Sounds to me like in your idea of 'romance' you are looking to get all your needs met in one person. I think your reading said you'd do better to go and meet lots of people, spread your charms around , don't limit yourself.

Anyway the other thing i wanted to say was if you ask us if you will find love or not you make it so the answer can only be 'yes' or 'no'. If someone says 'no' that will depress you and if someone says 'yes' they may cause you to wait expectantly for something that may not happen at all...whereas you'd be better off to focus less on a long term relationship and more on everyday interests and connections that can in the end lead you somewhere new (41.6)

As to whether you will find love I have absolutely no idea. Could be in the course of your life, while you are engaged with expanding your networks etc (as in 41.6) you meet the love of your life. Who knows ? I don't.

Earlier you said that your readings using the automated tool hadn't come true and you blamed the tool. I think you misunderstand. All interpretations offered here are just the persons opinion about an answer and aren't absolute. You seem dangerously ready to wholly believe what people tell you your answer means which gives you less control and insight into your life than if you had not consulted Yi at all.

You have made a big leap forward though in that you now know how to cast a hexagram yourself...so you are much further forward than you were . So maybe next step is to understand there aren't these absolute positive/negative answers in hexagrams http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/friends/showthread.php?t=8682 and maybe get a book or something and get familair with what the lines mean.

I would highly recommend Hilarys new book , its clear and easy to understand without being shallow and superficial. Why not just order it from Amazon...it would help you enormously. I will try to find the link...but with a book like that available you can't be lost for too long. I can't understand film plots or book plots with more than 2 people either and even I can understand it

The hexagram search feature here is great IMO because you can see what lots of different people have said about a line and so on. But maybe that will confuse oyu at first..so maybe you should go to the 'learn' part of this site and just try to learn what you can. That way you won't be at the mercy of whatever other people tell you
