Ravenstar asked about the chakra’s and hexagram 48? I said 48 had a connection with the first chakra.
I had this from the book Earth Ascending from Jose Arguelles. It was the first book I read from him, still think it was the best he wrote.
He is using the magic square from Benjamin Franklin from 64. The Original Franklin square.
They add up in the horizontal and vertical direction to 260. This is the magic number in the Maya calendars(the first attachment)
When you draw lines from 1 to 2 to 3 etc. you get the figure in the second attachment.
When you have a close look to the figure you see that there are 5 crossing points and a top and a bottom. This are the 7 chakra’s.

The upper part is part of the future and the lower part is history. The first part 1 till 16 is in the future then from 16 you go to the other side to 17 to the history. There you stay till 48 the Well. Then from 48 to 49 you go back to the future again. This is done through the corpus callosum.(lord beam). The part of the brain that makes the connection between the left and right brain hemisphere. (What is underdeveloped with autistic children).
So with 49 we can make step in the future again, we can change things.
Reading this diagram you can place all the hexagrams into the picture of the chakra’s.
Writing this I reread parts of the book of Arguelles, I thought I could find the reference to the chakra’s but he is not writing about this. So maybe I made this conclusion myself because it had 7 cross points. But nevertheless I still find this arrangement very interesting so that’s why I wanted to share this.

Wow Frank! You've really hit something here! When I first read this, especially about the corpus callosum, I remembered learning it looks like a thick 'boomerang-shaped band' of fibers that connect the brains hemispheres and is a massive midline conduit for processing and relaying information between the two cerebra halves. Your second picture (the chakras) certainly displays this. It has also been called a big telephone cable connecting 'millions' of neurons between the two hemipheres.

My first impression of this split-brain analogy was the Hansel and Gretel story. The forest they were left and lost in could represent the thick fibers or neurons enabling communication between the left and right hemispheres....a boomerang effect. If we look at Hexagram 48 and 49 and what you said about stepping into the future and changing things, it's exactly what the children eventually did.

Then I thought of the Harry Potter books. Yes I'm a fan  We learned he lost his family, 1st chakra (foundation, security) and was placed with relatives who offered hardly any love or 'back support'. During his stay with them, Harry also suppressed alot of his emotions (2nd chakra) And I think, the 4th chakra is where we tend to store abandonement and pain issues? He did have a few outbursts which happened when he got angry.....his undeveloped magic when screwey.

We later learned Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry became his extended family and his two best friends (logic and intuition) helped and guided him. This created a strong base for Harry to work from and learn about his own true nature.

I believe Chakras have specific emotional/mental tasks which we (individually) need to discover for it to maintain a frequency vibration that supports our spiritual expansion. In order for us to expand spiritually, we need to develop higher perception. The higher the frequency, the more spiritually developed we can become.

The other picture Frank, I'll have to ponder on a bit......get my brain working :duh: . I'm still in the learning stage of the I Ching so bear with me while I gather more wisdom from you and the others.
