51,1,4 into 2

Hey everyone

I got 51,1,4 changing into 2 in response to "What do I need to know about my 'relationship' with X?"

Btw, X is the same person I got 41, 6 changing into 19 (see post of last week).

From what I've read here and in Karcher, I interpret 51,1,4 as there's going to be some shocking information coming my way, but that it'll be something to laugh over and eventually everything will be okay...and that 2's telling me to be open and receptive and not to be controling.

However, 2 at Eclectic Energies talks about a new potential for me to develop, a companionship is gained in the southwest and a companionship is lost in the northeast. Do either companionships refer to X?

Also, I looked up 51 at Eclectic Energies, any idea what "The shock startled in a hundred li" (100 li is about 40 km or 25 miles.) means?

I also asked the IC "What does X think about me?" and I got 60,1,2 and 6 changing into 20 but I can't make head or tail of this reading... Anyone have an idea what this means?

I think people waaay over emphasize the drama in 51, infact i think 51 can be about making drama, sometimes enjoyably . I see 51 as more often the shock and excitement within us, especially when involved in infatuations with others etc. My take on your reading is someone (you ?) gets all shook up and excited/fearful without too much cause 51,1 and that this state of mind renders them ineffective/immobilised stuck in the mire 51,4. Maybe cultivating a more receptive reflective frame of mind might help to see the relationship more clearly - and see it more for what it is - hex 2.

I see it as what you need to know is to calm down and look at things as they are - the facts - hex 2

Oh just noticed your question about what X thinks of you - I see it as X is considering how you fit into his life 60-20. My experience with 60 and how others feel is that they may well like you but they want to stay in control of how the relationship fits into their life - like they are considering how much time and energy to give the realtionship and want things to be as they want them. I'm not so keen on that myself - still just my take

It seems that something has shaken up your relationship and you are now worried about the future of it. I would not worry too much if I were you, find out what is going on, then you will be in a good position to make some progress.
Hex 2 is about not forcing the issue, letting things happen naturally, in this way you should be lucky.

Hi trojan, thanks for the insight you gave on 51 and 60-20. I'd never have thought of 60-20 that way. I'll have to think about that one a little, but it seems to make sense to me. Btw, X is a woman in my relationship...and I'm male.

Willowfox, thanks for your helpful input, I got the idea that I should back off and take a passive approach from the previous reading (41,6 - 19) already and again with this one (51,1,4 - 2), but I'm intrigued as to why you think the 'shock' has already taken place as opposed to it about to happen in the near future.

Furthermore, I thought I'd asked about 'what was going on' with my initial question "What do I need to know about my 'relationship' with X?" or do you see your suggestion as a different question to ask of the IC?

Purloiner incase my take sounded a bit weird what i was seeing in the 60 to 20 was a person who was taking time to work out her boundaries. 60 is about how we regulate, measure and organise our world - 20 suggests something still under consideration. Maybe not the most romantic configuration but I think we would all need to do that when thinking about getting involved in a relationship, stuff like how much emotional time and energy we have to give. The 41,6 you got before sounds like shes got a busy life or maybe lots of friends/projects that she devotes time to perhaps in a fairly altruistic kind of way - maybe shes a bit wary of getting too involved cos she needs space to do all this other stuff. I forgot what you wrote in previous threads, can't recall if you are already with her or just wanting to be so sorry if this doesn't fit.

Trojan, having thought about it for a while, I actually find your insights on 60-20 to be quite accurate and not weird at all.

In fact, if one additionally takes into account what you mentioned about 41.6, you have a pretty good idea of what's going on right now.

Shock news has arrived... 29.5 > 7 and more...

Well, I think the shock news mentioned in 51.1.4 > 2 is in...and it's that X has fallen in love with someone else and that it's over between the two of us. I know that I didn't force anything - as was warned not to by Hex 2 - to cause this because she fell in love during the four weeks she was away studying.

Prior to finding this out I asked "What am I moving towards?" and got 29.5 > 7 with crossline omen 29.5 [7.5 : 13.5] 30.5. The changing line interpretation according to Total Yijing Pro says that the sacrific to the Earth Spirit is over, the Earth Spirit is appeased and to go on with my life and to be happy with my release.

The crossline omen speaks about something important returning, so I asked how will I know when the something important is returning and got 35.1.3.6 > 55 but things aren't clear to me.

Who amongst us here can shed some light on this and in particular on the following interpretation of the crossline omens?

What is it? 28.2.4 > 39

In an effort to gain a little more clarity, I asked "What is the nature of the something important returning? What is it?"

IC replied with 28.2.4 > 39

28.2 - Am I to understand that X will be returning or will this be someone new?

28.4 - From this I understand that I shouldn't try to lead but be led to realize a hidden potential.

39 - This says that the superior man must go within himself to look for the error and to use the occasion for inner enrichment and education.

Who has an insight to 28.2 or any input?
