Blessings to all :)

I want to first extend my immense gratitude to all of you, who have helped me beyond words. I found this wonderful & most compassionate forum about a year ago. Many times I found this community to be very comforting in times of confusion. It most definitly has given me clarity & serenity, many a times...there has been many instances where the advice one gives to another, serendipitously has been exact to my plight. I started casting the I-Ching regurlarly in the past 12 mos...I am self-taught (which does has it's downfalls). Ususally I would cast the I-Ching, inregards to love, jobs & general guidance. Only a rare few times (lately) has my interpretation been completely wrong. Other than that in using 4 different translations (Koh Kok Kiang, Lise, Wilhelm-Baynes, Compassionate Dragon) & perusing through this forum, all has been crystal clear. Yes, unfortunately there has been many times where I feel that I would be casting too much & incurring possible disharmony w/the I-Ching. As an old-timer tarot card reader I know ALL to well that you can deterr from the truth when you are doing readings for yourself obsessively &/or not in the right meditative state...causing for the divinition tool to become irritated. But I have always strived to be respectful to the I-Ching. And I have been waiting for the right moment to join, especially since I am very much an amateur and I wanted to wait until I had more comprehension of the I-Ching.

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT WANT ANY MEDICAL ADVICE. I WOULD APPRECIATE CLARITY & GUIDANCE ON HOW TO BEST DEAL WITH MY READING. THANK YOU :bows:

Last night I scared my self half to death  I only casted 2x (I was a little frazzled) I asked:

What is the best guidance upon this pain? (I was having a throbing pain that felt like a ovarian cyst or bladder infection...it wasn't even that bad to be honest.)

I didn't like the response & therefore made the stupid error in looking at the Medical I-ching :brickwall: (which I NEVER DID BEFORE and by the way I have read in the forums that it takes a professional to answer medical i - ching). That book spoke of death. And I am pretty much healthy. It went to say that it represented a grave STD?! Hahaha well I have not had sexual relations for over 5 yrs. (My choice, had nasty divorce=broke my heart...and I'm still waiting on a true partner, etc etc) After my last sexual experience I took a thorough STD test about a year later and I am clean as a whistle...so???

Then I had the excellent idea (sarcasm) to ask the I-ching & look at the Medical book again :duh::
What is the general guidance on my health?

The Medical I-Ching talked again about doom and gloom. Basically said that these two hexagrams where in the Yui Hun & Gui Hun group, which are the most fatal hexagrams: Death, Near-death, Comatose, Soul Wanderes etc...

Please help me understand these readings in layman terms. From reading through this forum I know that the I-Ching is not meant to scare you. And today I read a rant from Hilary that did aid me: http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/friends/showpost.php?p=32961&postcount=6 But I guess my Taurean mind still needs reassurance and community contact. And btw my astrology chart indicates more harmony this year...lol the only thing medical I needed to watch out for was a "bad case of nerves" hahaha (which I am doing the best I can in addressing my anxiety EX: naturopathy/accupuncture/happy thoughts etc.)

Also since my late bestfriends birthday, my recent 30th birthday (Saturn Return), a disastrous/dangerous 1 month vacation, climate change/powers that be stuff...I have been fearing the topic death. I know all too well that fear is the mind-killer and that we can attract our fears to bring in more fear etc... So I have been for the most part striving to be in the vibration of Love...

But I do have a tendency of becoming catastrophic in my thoughts and looking at the worst possible outcome AND not looking at the basic clear picture which can be right in my face. I guess I am looking for comfort  and I am kind of scared of using the I-ching again, and it has helped me sooooo much and it's been the best tool of guidance I have had the pleasure to work with...I don't want to become jaded. Help! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! AN OCEAN OF LOVE TO YOU ALL, MAY THE SUNSHINE BRIGHT ON YOUR PATHS

P.S.
forgive me for writing alot here...:bag:

I am gald I never looked at the Medical I ching. sounds like a great way to obsess and worry.

Don't worry! the readings don't seem dire to me in any way. I am very skeptical about using the Yi for medical questions. I once had a kind of tickle in my throat that wouldnt go away. I kept asking the I Ching and got 23 twice. I was sure I was dying. not really, but I assumed it had to be something serious. I insisted that the ENT Doctor put a probe down my nose into the sinus cavity. He found nothing. I think he thought I was a hypochondriac, and I am not usually that quick to see doctors much less to insist on unpleasant procedures like that one.

61.4 is one of my favorite lines, btw. nothing dire there.

The I ching has never frightened me. There was a discussion recently about scaling the answers down to the question. Some readings can seem so dire and troubling eg 29.6, and yet in the contxt of a question, they can point in an exaggerated way to something quite insignificant, but very immediate.

welcome to the forum!

Right On :D

Bamboo THANK YOU for taking the time out and helping me. Your kindness is much appreciated. Your story made me reflect on my possible "hypochrondiac" nature and you put me at ease. :bows:

THE MAIN LESSON IS: WHAT EVER YOU DO, DO NOT LOOK AT THE MEDICAL I-CHING BOOK. IT'S EVIL. :duh:

...if possible do you have a link of that discussion? I looked through and couldn't seem to find it...if not that's cool I'll eventually find it No worries

Btw the pain went away! I look forward in being apart of the forum. Thanks a million!

Hi

the first answer 54 changing to 34 is the one to follow. 54 is really about ACCETANCE - accepting
one's position and situation. Then 34 can only mean great vitality that shoulld be harnessed.

i would not comment on the second casting as it is best to stay with one and mull it over - I think
the Yi can be cheeky and scare you if you like that sort of thing. Like shouting the monsters are
coming to children and they scream and run in fright, kinda liking it! so i reckon that is a leg pull.

also the text you are reading is the domain of great scholars who become so esoteric that it is
really advanced stuff. They are thinking of the times then when wars waged etc and historical
references. Best for us mere neophtyes to keep it simple.

Be patient you will regain full health. H x

Hi

I like what both Bamboo & Hopex have said, some good advice there. I am saying the obvious of course that you need to go get it checked out. 54 to 34 could be just that of submitting your self to a doctors care to start with a simple UTI test(you should be able to get one at the pharmacy too) or another test which can be cleared with antibotics (if its UTI) Excess worring always makes symptoms worse. I like what Bamboo said , "Some readings can seem so dire and troubling eg 29.6, and yet in the contxt of a question, they can point in an exaggerated way to something quite insignificant, but very immediate." and what Hopex said,"Best for us mere neophtyes to keep it simple."
Hex 61.4 is saying yes keep it simple..keep the tiger(your situation) simple ;)

I believe your health problem is clearly connected to being divorced in a nasty way -- as you say. And both of the readings you did point to this. There is something about making the "executive decision" to separate yourself emotionally, spiritually, physically, from a man you have loved [in all ways] that doesn't tear cleanly on the dotted line -- it shreds. Negation so powerful is bound to have a physical effect and I think it's fascinating that you mention all of it here in this reading about your ovaries, or whatever is in pain.

I know you don't want medical advice and I understand that is purely speculative to give But I would venture to offer to you the idea that being forced to suppress the feminine side of yourself and fight for your life in a divorce can come out in a variety of ways. And playing itself out in your female organs is right at the top of the list. So many young women of my acquaintance, friends of my daughters' are being diagnosed these days with "endometriosis." When I see the guys they date it doesn't surprise me. There is no warmth, there is no joy, it's all one-up-manship and competition and foul language and ugly discussion. No woman would want it and it is degrading to the men as well. Where balance is lacking people become unhealthy. I think it is a "death" of sorts. It's the death of society if the two sexes can't figure this out a lot better.

One thing I could recommend to you is cranio-sacral therapy. Another is EFT. Clearing emotional issues first sometimes saves a big doctor bill and a lot of heartache that could be dispelled quickly. Don't wait to be "a second wife" -- a wife again. Don't wait for the horse that was separated from you to return. You can do this yourself and feel well.

Lots of love, Arabella

Hopex, White Owl & Arabella thank u for taking the time out! The pain actually went away the next day. I went to get a check up and I'm as healthy as can be! Unfortunately my aunt died that weekend...that was a bit shocking. But she's not suffering. She fought a valiant fight against 4 stage cancer for 2 yrs. Please send loving light to her survived family: 3 children of 26, 19, 15 yrs. old & my uncle 46 yrs. old. May the power of Love shine upon them!

@Arabella I wish you didn't cross the boundary of giving medical advice. When I 1st read it, it induced a hell of alot of anxiety. I think it's good practice to honor people's boundaries, alot of times good intentions can do much more harm then the intended good. Also as psychics, seers, healers & intuitives I think its best to be aware of the power of the word. To be vigilant, in not casting seeds that can induce self-fulfilling prophecies. I am referring to your insinuation of suppressing my feminine side, becoming a disease. Even before your comment I had declared I was fine. I didn't see the reasoning in you coming out with this perspective. Two thirds of your commentary was filled w/assumptions. As I only mentioned my divorce once. I would implore for you to be more considerate to those whom may be more sensitive, is all. ALTHOUGH THANK YOU for the EFT hit...I have done a lot of work w/EFT and you reminded be to get back to it! Next time, leave out the doom & gloom so that the querent won't have a panic attack lol. Give their Higher Selves a chance to heal, before human words can bring them down. (especially any infertility insinuations, without dead on proof, you should know that can freak most women out)

May all of you be infinitely blessed in whatever you put your hearts in! LOVE

Sorry if you read what I wrote as some "doom and gloom" since it was intended as just the opposite. If I was giving you any advice it was anti-medical advice, not medical. The term "endometriosis" was put into quotation marks because none of the girls had it. This was a mis-diagnosis given to people who are perfectly healthy physically but suffering from emotional tension that made them feel unwell. They are just fine, although under some emotional pressure, which is what I was suggesting to you. I can see that, if you are subject to panic attacks, the mention of anything to do with your health might be unwelcome news -- even if it's good news -- and this is why you are asking for comfort about your reading rather than information. The suggestion you might have a UTI didn't seem offensive, so I wonder why the idea of psychosomatic issues would be?

To say that you want the iChing to read for an illness, to have the awful feeling of the Medical IChing disspelled, but not to mention anything medical, is a bit strange, and I thought you might be comforted by the idea that your problem may not be medical at all, but psychological, as I know quite a few in this position right now, including my youngest daughter. Her abdominal pains are all psycho-somatic, although quite real when she has them. However the answer isn't any medical procedure, but being able to calm down. I'm glad if you know and use EFT because it can dispense with a huge array of psychological and physical issues [as they tend to be intertwined] and you can feel great in no time.

The last lines of what I'd written to you include quotations from your iChing reading, the moving lines. I believe they are telling you may well be faced with a psychosomatic problem based on your unfortunate experiences with the male of the species. And so I presented examples of that happening that I am presently very familiar with as well. And what I was suggesting to you is that quite possibly the source of your FEELINGS of unwellness is contained very interestingly within those lines, which is the reading you were asking about. I've seen folks correct these very types of problems almost instantly with EFT. EFT is great for anxiety attacks -- I've even done it with folks over the telephone, or on their behalf as a surrogate at huge distances and it's just as effective.

I don't want to be antagonistic to you at all but could offer the idea that facts and information are the enemies of anxiety and pillars of stability.

One more comment if I may. I think the problem may be my assumption that you would follow what I was saying -- which was a bit tongue in cheek with the sarcastic punctuation of "endometriosis" for example. I should have written something far simpler and straightforward in consideration of the fact that you were already shook up. Apologies for that too.
