I share this answer in case could someone help me to understand what iching is trying to tell me.

I feel disappointed and hopeless lately for personal reasons and I was talking to iching:
I feel there is no hope in my life anymore (in my love life especially):
55,4,5>63

Do you see any hope here?

Dear Shonna,

Yes, I do see hope here but the hexagrams say that in order to change your life and access the positive potential there are things you must do which no one else can do for you.
55. Says you have the resources, now you must take action.
55.4 Says there is healing available, but you may not like to do the work.
I don't know what this refers to in your real world life but even here at on line clarity I see things you could/should do that would connect you with healing. For example, the picture you post of the woman kissing a toad. While this is a cute picture it doesn't reinforce your goal of being available for a relationship with a suitable partner. You are putting out an image of yourself (55. has to do with what the world sees you as) that is very negative.
Then the questions you post here. You ask for advice but you don't make an attempt to interpret the hexagrams on your own. You should sign up for WikiWing, it costs almost nothing and would give you much more insight than we can give you.
Also to continually ask for readings without sharing your own interpretations limits your learning and also takes advantage of the generosity of those who try to help you. I wonder if this is part of your problem with finding a suitable partner? Perhaps you expect others to do all the work in all your relationships?

55.5 is a very positive line but it does suggest things have gone as far as they can go at this point.

So all in all, the hexagrams do agree that you have indeed come to a point where it seems there is no hope but don't despair. 63. After Completion says that if you vow to stop going along the way you have been - looking for others to help with things only you can do for you - then you will discover a whole new life path opening up for you.

Please forgive me for sounding bossy. I don't know how to share my thoughts with you in a more gentle way so I'm just telling it like I see it. I am just trying to tell you I see how painful things are for you right now and I want you to heal but you are ignoring the "cure." Perhaps I am the dark lord of 55.3!

The I Ching is a true blessing and you have been greatly blessed to have found it. Now take advantage of this gift. Study the lines, really get into it. Tell us your interpretation of the lines, give us feedback. We can't do the work for you but if you will do your part we can share with you what we know. Perhaps the man of your dreams will turn out to be someone who is interested in the I Ching too - prepare now to keep up with him!

You are right, I should write my interpretation but I am so hesitant to raise hopes. I apologize.
Anyway, Iching gave me the hexagram 55. I think it will try to tell me "don't be sad".
55.4 I am wondering who will be the ruler of line 4, a friend or a partner? Somebody who will help me?
55.5 looks so positive, it gives me hope and it mentions good luck.
Hexagram 63. Completion, like my sadness will end?

Yes, maybe, who could ever know for sure -- but I am afraid you overread the central point in rosadas post. Said in a nutshell, she tried to tell you, that it would be crucial for you and your happiness to accept personal responsibility.
She put so much effort and positive energy in a posting which had imo the potential to be very helpful for you and again all you want to hear is that somebody will come and sort it out for you. You totally ignored the core of rosadas interpretation.
I don't like to write this. But I have no other words after reading so many of your posting which all convey the impression that you feel being totally subjugated to fate/ to the mercy of the outer world. I think you will be a lot happier after you start to understand that you have much more shaping power in your life than you think right now. I wrote something similar months ago, also diamanda did, and now rosada.

Not fair at all to class Equinox's post as criticism. She is simply showing integrity as a reader IMO and an unpaid one at that ! What she says is true, and she says it in the kindest way possible after spending hours and hours of her life applying her mind to your problems like here for example

So there is a great imbalance here where people offer their skills and time abundantly for free yet when they point out in the gentlest way possible that it's actually becoming impossible to give you more readings on this forum (having already offered so much with such patience) because you are pretty much on repeat cycle that everything is 'hopeless' unless a man and baby can be manifested asap, at least that is my impression from the last dozen or so threads of yours...


To constantly speak as if your own life were utterly worthless if you can't have a child/relationship etc sounds like it's coming from 1950 not 2018 Your family are wrong/outdated to keep pressurising you about this so rather than just go along and accept their judgment about how your life should be you could decide that actually they are wrong and there isn't this terrible hopelessness if you don't reproduce !

It is quite regrettable when readers have been so generous with their time, so careful in their wordings, so precise with their interpretations that they can just be disregarded as being 'critical' when they say something quite honest about the way you are using the I Ching, this forum and your own life.

Perhaps it would be helpful if we go over in more detail exactly what these hexagrams mean:

55. Abundance means an abundance of opportunities. Everything must come out in the open now so we have opportunities to be joyful and also opportunities or reasons to be sad. The king - that's you - has the responsibility to decide which to develop. The I Ching advises, "Be not sad!" and thus, do not morn or complain, you are the one responsible for your life, it is the way it is because of what you choose to focus on and put your energy into. The Image for 55 says the superior man - again, that is you - discusses criminal cases in order to delay execution. This means you must look carefully at the circumstances of your life to find the good things in order to delay giving up or feeling hopeless. Delay giving up by looking more carefully at what the circumstances really are.
The fourth line of any hexagram is the position of the teacher or guide. Here at 55.4 the teacher is The Dark Lord, that is, some person that may present you with difficult information but which is necessary to your improvement. Over on WikiWing there are examples of situations where The Dark Lord turned out to be a doctor who helped by first giving a difficult but negative diagnosis. Once the truth was brought out the confusion ended and the person was able to be helped. Your your situation here it appears the I Ching is saying you must look at what you are doing that is creating your experience. It may not be pleasant to have people telling you what you are doing "wrong" but if you will take the advice it will end your confusion. This will then head to 55.5 which is so positive, but you must first look at the whole truth of what is going on in your life and accept that you are the one creating the negative as well as the positive. For example, you say that you are stressed because your family pressures you to get married and have children. Well, it's your choice to have these people in your life. Luck isn't going to change that. Only you can decide if you are going to let them dictate what is right for you. You say you have had bad luck with the men you attract. Well, you're the one that has posted a picture introducing yourself as a woman who kisses toads. What do you think that is attracting?
Well I'm sure it's no fun and probably not helpful for me to go on and on like this. Anyway, good luck to you and I do hope you will check out WikiWing and post a picture by your name that says you are powerful and desirable - not a woman who likes to put dirty slimy things in her mouth!

Further ideas about 55. Abundance...

In studying the I Ching I find it helpful to read all the lines. Even though not all the lines apply to the particular question, if you read all the lines it can help you to more clearly understand the ones that you received. So..

The first line describes situations before we get into the main meaning of the hexagram. Abundance is made up of the trigram fire which stands for Clarity and the trigram thunder which means action. So Abundance is created when we have Clarity paired with Action. Thus at line 1, BEFORE Abundance we first must team clarity with the ability to act. If we can link those two it's a fine thing as the line says.

The second line describes conditions as we begin experiencing the nature of the hexagram. When Clarity and Action first come together it's not immediately a fine sunny day. Indeed, there's darkness but if we shinning the light of truth on the situation Clarity will eventually come. So at line 2 we first have darkness and misunderstandings but truth will out so keep shinning even though at this point the old weeds block the light.

The third line says that as there is darkness action is blocked. Note how at line 1 clarity and action are paired. At line 2 clarity is blocked. At line 3 action is blocked.

At line 4 Clarity is starting to lift the fog but it is not an easy line because when clarity brings things into the light of day it is not always pleasant to see what had previously been hidden.

Now at line 5 there is Clarity so Action is also possible. A terrific positive line, however, it is only possible to have this clarity because the person is willing to accept the truth, the person is willing to listen to the difficult advice coming from line 4, is willing see what needs to be done and is willing to do it.

Line 6 is in the last line and this position describes circumstances AFTER the main energy of the hexagram has passed. Thus 6 in this hexagram is a negative line because it means the person has accumulated enough clarity but instead of acting he just stubbornly refuses to act on the advice.

Anyway, I just outline these points as I think it makes understanding and memorizing the hexagrams easier if we recognize there is a pattern.

line 1 Before Abundance - or to create Abundance - Clarity and Action team up.
line 2 Limited Clarity.
line 3 Limited Action.
line 4 Clarity and Action are stressful.
line 5 Clarity and Action are successful.
line 6 After Abundance - or to end Abundance Clarity and Action disconnect.
