Useful examples of 61.4

I had a gal pal. We would go out to drink beer once in a while.
I finally realized that she drank way too much and way too often. Yi commented 61.4 about the situation. I stopped going out with her, and drank less alcohol, I'm healthier and happier now.

another:
Someone is involved in an international conspiracy of illegal activities. Then they decide to cooperate with prosecutors against their former team mates. This is also 61.4. ;)

These are good examples, thank you, Moss Elk.

I received this line a few years ago in response to the question, "How should I cope with my boss's moodiness and poor management skills?" I took it to mean I should go my own way within the organization, focusing on my own tasks, and not align myself with him too closely. This proved to be good practice. I stayed there a few more years but I escaped strong association with him and his mixed/negative reputation.

"i live my life by the moon"

Hi Moss Elk,I received this line almost a month ago when there was a super/blue/blood/solar eclipse/moon (Jan. 31) and it tripped me out because Legge: The fourth line, magnetic, shows its subject like the moon nearly full, and like a horse pulling a chariot whose fellow disappears. There will be no error. Felt a lot like synchronicity especially with the rare phenom happening in the universe and with me. That morning when I cast (would've been around the same time the lunar eclipse was happening) would've been a lil over month since I broke up with Nx. I asked yeez to help me understand how I felt about him now. My interpretation was: my inner truth felt like I couldn't truly be me with all our issues communicating and leaving was the only way to be free. Hex 61.4 made me realize that as much as it hurt breaking up with him the truth was the relationship was emotionally draining and I couldn't be my true authentic self. The connection and affinity is so strong that I doubt we will ever forget each other. And that was my follow-up question - what's the connection like between Nx & I, Yeez? Hex 61.2. One of my fave lines I've come across so far. So much so I want to get a tattoo of it. Sounds a lot like motherhood to me - which I am loving so far.I live my life by the moon: if it's half, lay low; if it's harvest go slow, and if it's full then go...-Nelly Furtado

Do you think this Line could also mean 'going against the norm"?

I'm hesitant to give a simple answer without knowing the situation in your life.

Because accurate interpretation cannot exist without context.
(And 'going against the norm' could be very subjective)

Old thread but:

Recent entanglement have posted about much, finally untangling.
Sort of an animal instinct, a decision to trust the Yi and deeper gut emotions, to let it go.
Other person hurt and sad, not at the choice, but at all the "bucking" and back and forth it took to get free of the tethers. Left them hurt. All the struggle for me, was painful but released a beautiful part of the creative spirit back into my life.

I feel like the horse. Free to chase the moon all the night, to hearts content. Surrounded by the forest creatures, no words needed for their kinship.

Who is to say, there will be no corrals in the future? Right now the moon is full and running through my mane. Delicious.

Following the Moon Goddess, who needs a saddle?

(Also last night, found peace about my decision after waking up at 4 am to work on a doll, modelled after an Aztec moon goddess. Sometimes what we were seeking in relationship is best found in the creative process)
