I asked the i-ching: What do I need to know about doing my internship at school A? and got 8 to 20. Does that mean that I am too late in asking them about it and that I should look into why I want to do the internship there? Thanks for any advice:bows:

What do I need to know about doing my internship at school A? and got 8.6 to 20

It suggests that if you don't sign up right away then you are going to miss out completely and then you would only be able to think about a missed opportunity.

Yes i find 8.6 can mean theres nothing to gather you to this project anyway, no 'head' no guiding principle, no 'leader'. So yes I think you are right to consider carefully how much you are really drawn to this place. Hex 8 is often about what you feel you belong with, in line 6 that sense of unity or belonging with whatever it is has dissipated to the extent there just may not be the energy or the will to 'hold together' with this thing. hex 20 of course also advises you stand back and have a good look at this whole thing. Also could be theres not sufficient connectivity (?) there, disorganisation.
For me i find it comes up when nothing and noone is really coming together to make anything happen, no sense of unity or purpose to make clear progress in chosen direction. I'm wondering if there would be enough sense of guidance at this place for you...hmm not exactly guidance can't think of right word, its just some places (esp educational) you feel support of the whole structure of a place and other places you can feel like a spare cog floating around. I think it can make alot of difference to how you get on

So yes rethink your focus here or you could end up feeling rather lost, at sea.

Two different interpretations, wow! But some interesting points.

willowfox~you got me off my butt and I asked for an appointment already! Thanks, I needed to get going.

trojan~what you say about connectivity is what I also thought about while reading the explanation on 8. I never really contacted that school before, cause I didn't feel the connection, or didn't know anyone working there to help me get in. Rumour has it that the head of the school is a bit all over the place, so 8.6 could be pointing to that.
I'm wondering if there would be enough sense of guidance at this place for you..
Guidance is a very appropriate word, indeed. I really need to work with a person who's experienced and can guide me through this. So, thanks for pointing this out, cause I am gonna look into it whenever they give me an appointment.

Thanks heaps again. I-ching never ceases to amaze me with the answers it gives.:bows:
