About quitting my job

Hello,

I am new to the community but I have a question about the Yi Jing. I asked "What would happen if I quit NCO?" NCO is the company I work for. I just only started two days ago. The Yi gave me 52.5 changing to 53. It seems that at the present moment I need to rest and take into account that this is only temporary. Line fine seems to be saying not to talk to anyone about it. But the confusing part is hex 53. Maybe some kind of progress or personal growth maybe, but the it implies marriage. I have a girlfriend and I am very devoted to her. But it didn't tell me what would happen, only this fine omen of steadfastness. What would happen if I quit? Do I do what I love in poverty, or to continue with the job and suffer not doing what I love. Any help is deeply appreciated. Thank you. That the essence of my inner being, there is more, but little nuances of feeling related to this.

hmmm... I think your casting indicates a need to stick with it a little longer. What you have is 52 > 8 > 53

Staying where you are, directing your thoughts to where you currently are, the present > then forging a comfortable position with those you work with > then gradual development and success

two days is not enough time to know whether to quit a brand new job, in my personal opinion, and being hasty like that could be regrettable

But you know what will happen. You went with NCO because doing what you love didn't pay. If you were satisfied with a life of poverty you wouldn't have left it. And, no, poverty probably won't be good for your love life.

If you quit NCO your jaws will be still because you will have less to chew on. In this situation I read 52.5 as keep a stiff upper lip. I have worked at a variety of jobs. None of them were wholly satisfactory, but there were elements in each that accorded with my true interests. I kept a chart of the hexagrams in my shirt pocked and studied them while plowing fields. Plowing is exceedingly boring, but I improved the time. I think that if you ground yourself in NCO you will find a way to turn your job to your true interests and find joy in your work (Ecc.2:24).

1. Owner has no fate in management & supervisors (line 6), including you
2. The workers or customers in line 3 do not listen to the managment in line 6.
3. Line 5, money is being wasted.
4. You are just helping out and also gain the attention of upper managment, and of course the resentment and discomfort of others (including your supervisor)
5. You are in line 6, you want to run for the door.
6. Things will return to normal, give it time
7. Company will reach peace with workers and customers.
8. Stick around and wait for Aug 12... and see what happens.

Here is an update about the job. Today, I was told that I didn't pass the hands on billing part of the the job. Long Yi was right about a lot of aspects. The owner has no fate in the company. In fact he is RARELY there, maybe once a year. Money is being wasted. I was just helping out until today,

Deep inside me, I didn't want this job. I don't like billing other people, I don't like collecting money, I don't like the atmosphere of the whole job--so I sabotaged it. Don't get me wrong, I put in my best effort, but I made two major boo-boos in my assessment test today.

I am a creative person and this job is about a non-creative as a person can get. My instructor said, "Of all the people I thought who would do well, it was you. I truly wish it could be different."

The funny thing is, Yi told me not to take this job. It was only after I took it that it said I was would gain from it.

I don't know if Aug 12th still has something special for me, but I hope so.
