Hope someone can help me to interpret this casts and making my decision.
During this Covid time, as many, I'm facing a lot of financial difficulties.
Despite my worries, I'm spending this time (we are at the 50th day of lockdown in Italy) to focus on my projects.

That's a very important and challenging one: finding productions and financial support to make my documentary come to reality.
It's my first one and it's more than one year I'm working at the script. I finally reach the final version and I'm going to look for support. It is a challenging project because it is set in two controversial countries of the Middle East (where I spent 3 years) and I'm not famous.

By searching on the web, I found an UK organization helping filmmakers to reach the audience, still they enter in any stage of the project to help it come to reality. They mainly focus on socially impact projects and they enjoyed my script.

After a conference meeting with one of them, she explained me how they work. They are not a production house but they look to have many contacts and they said they will help in finding fundings, applying to international calls and so on.

In return they ask for a not-refunded early fee (not so high if they really could help me to find productions, but not so common as a practice) and a final higher one coming from the overall budget of the movie, once and if it will be funded. That's fine, normal.

I have many doubts about accepting or not their proposal. Between them, my own fears about trusting them or not, and about the effectiveness of their contribution to find support for the project.
Last but not least, even though the early fee is not so high, for me it would be a great investment for my finance, considering the many problems I'm facing.

I wonder if this proposal is a concrete opportunity and I should do this investment or not.

Thank you for any advice because, despite I'm trying to find opinions from my friends or people in my field, I still find controversial opinions and I really don't know if declining this offer will take me to a standstill or if accepting it will lead me to something dangerous or something great.

I just had an update, I didn't expect.
They just wrote me that they just fully reviewed our proposal and decide not to go further.
They didn't really motivate their considerations, but it looks like our vision doesn't fully apply to their criteria, despite our conversation was really promising and we were only waiting - as she said - to receive their written proposal to discuss it further.

Weird people... I believe some of her collaborators didn't agree with her enthusiasm and will to collaborate.

It means they are not the right people and it confirms some of my doubts about their vision and way they act.

I wonder if someone could still tell me the meaning of my casts in reference to my new updates.

At that point, I would be very happy to have more review about the 46 uc.
Does it give an idea of what should I expect or do now to find financial support for my project?
If I asked for one more question, could you suggest which one?

I wonder if all my efforts to make this film come to reality make sense, if there is a potential for realization or not. It's a long time I'm working on this, I wouldn't like to waste my time, despite making this project come to reality is one of my biggest dreams. That's why I'm unable to give up!

Hi Breakmov and Rosada, thanks a lot for your insights and clarifications.
Now I can understand more what my casts meant.
I really enjoy how you, Breakmov could see beyond the lines and how Rosada could see how my casts well fit with the outcome.

I know I need help, that's what I'm looking for. It's a really competitive field and I'm in an inferior position for sure because of a lack of experience.
However, I have a lot of experience as a video artist and a video maker: many people recognized my talents, but I could never reach what I really wanted. Somehow, because of my difficult past as a child, my mind tends to think that I don't deserve happiness (and success). And I could clearly see how much this influenced most of my life and past projects, despite they had great potentials. I worked on that and I did a lot of progress. That's why I'm trying again to make one of dream happen!

As I told in my previous post Rosada, I cannot and I don't want to give up. But is it a good idea I wonder...?
Yet, when I come close to something important I cannot tame my fears to be unsuccessful.
