an attempt...

Mmmmh... even if bad news?

You're trigram Xun here (according to Da Liu). Your man is Qian. He's older than you, and: strong, healthy, handsome, good-natured (choose one or more of these characteristics :D). Maybe at first he appears a little moody, or too mental and complicated (Li), but then his inner strength shows up.
I'm pretty confident you'll meet him, or better he'll meet you.
Hex 50, The Cauldron, shows you being born again after a Radical Change (49-preceding one) or Breakthrough (43-nuclear): maybe you're just out of an important story or you've just made some major changes in your life? Or maybe it's been an inner Revolution. Anyway, you're seen by Yi as a newly cast vessel, supreme offering to the Spirits to seal the founding of a new era.
Your "gold ears" are just waiting for a "bronze handle", because they are ready to welcome it, and together they will move the vessel and make it useful, so that "the new order becomes stable and lasting" (Hilary). So it seems that you will establish a relationship, specifically a physical one (44, Coupling).
However, hex 44 isn't auspicious for marriage ("Coupling, the woman is powerful. Do not take this woman"). As you are here represented by Xun, you are the weak line at the bottom that seduces the man above, causing troubles. So you'll meet and he probably won't be able to resist you, and could be misleaded someway by your gentle appearance. This to say he could find out later that you really don't fit and the story won't last so long as initially expected.
These aspects are confirmed if you look at the trigrams using Da Liu's methods (which he ascribes to Shao Yong). In fact: Xun = subject = wood; Li = destiny = fire. Wood produces fire, so subject produces destiny, and in a prediction about marriage this means that there will be difficulties associated with it. Then, in the related hexagram, Qian = destiny = metal. Metal destroys wood, so destiny destroys subject, and this means the wedding won't take place (or it will be a difficult one). Furthermore, Qian is reinforced by two more Qian's in hex 44, and this makes it invincible, while in hex 50 both Qian and Dui are present, both representing metal, so I'm quite sure the union won't last and it all will lead to a new Breakthrough.
Last, you should pay a great attention because line 44.5, fan yao and "target" line of your changing 50.5, also means unexpected pregnancy  ("a melon wrapped with willow, falling from heaven"), as does its correlated line 43.5 ("amaranth on high ground"), that could force you to a very difficult decision to be taken ("decide, decide!"). This also matches with the abundance of metal we found before.
Last guess: Li is summer (may to july), Qian is late autumn (october), so be careful with holiday adventures because you could have to face difficult choices in autumn.

If this all makes sense, I'd end with a suggestion taken from the Great Images: "set the situation straight and consolidate your destiny" (50) by "sending the prince's mandates and comands to tthe four corners of the earth" (44), i.e. make sure to control your instinct. ;)

And this is my take...

50 is very good fortune with a very good moving line. One would initially say that this gua is about as good as it gets, except perhaps for the sudden intervention of a third party, a relative, etc.. However, even with that, there should be success in getting married. 44, however, is the gua of the girl who is hurt and it is bad for marriage, including the fact that the couple are basically incompatible. On first blush, it appears that, yes, you are likely to marry in 2011; however, it is also likely that the marriage will not last. Now, it must be remembered that love and marriage have nothing to do with each other. Romantic love doesn't exist in ancient China, and probably nowhere else as well, except in the imagination of Hollywood-influenced imaginations. 50 indicates definite success in love. However, 44 indicates that one of the parties will not be sincere in that love. I would guess that it is this insincerity that would cause a rupture in a marriage, because in our world people still marry for love and destroy the institution because they feel that they are out of love.

Hmm, it's a nice hexagram and a nice line, but I'd be hesitant to read it as a yes. I'm not sure if the i ching is very good at answering yes/no questions or anything too predictive like this. You might meet someone next year, but why does it have to be someone who will want to marry you? I suppose there are some couples that know fairly soon into the relationship that they want to marry each other, but I think it's pretty rare. Most people take years before they want to marry the person they're in a relationship with, or even think about it. I often find 50 to be a rather deep hexagram, I'm not sure that I entirely understand it yet. I think maybe this reading might be saying if and when it's the right time, when you're in the right place emotionally, then you'll meet the right person. I think though that there is no one person for us, that each relationship has something to teach us and is right at the time. I don't think the i ching is particularly predictive, it can be some times, but with a question like this I think it's difficult to give a definate answer. Who knows if you'll have a relationship next year? That's up to you really - being in the right place to meet people, accepting invitations, the type of people you hang out with, being open to the unexpected and unconventional etc. Does it matter really? I think maybe it's best to work on yourself and just be ready and open for anything. Don't go looking for such things or expect but enjoy whatever happens and learn and grow as a person along the way. Then things will come together as they are supposed to. :)
