I haven't actually downloaded it yet, but when I do I'll look at all that.Play with the settings a bit. You can do it manually, throw real coins, then enter into the app. That can be quite useful. Or you can cast each line automatically.
I think that's for when you enter a hexagram manually. You cycle through the different possibilities, then swipe up when you've got the right one. So, I use my beads, then I usually enter the hexagram that way. It's a good, minimalist journal, at least you've got date, question, hexagram. And you can refer to the text for the primary and relating hexagrams and the moving lines. (Tip: the default mode is some silly system that eliminates multiple moving lines and replaces them with a single moving line. But you can go to settings and change it to manual, which allows you to look at any moving line in the primary hexagram you like).What I was aghast about was the idea that the app allows a person to cast a line, and then erase it. I hope that's a misprint.
