Choose from two Shamans

Hey all,

I have been following you guys for a very long time, and learned alot from the knowledge you bring into this forum. Greatly appreciated by 'us' lurkers

I have the following issue and I hope you guys can give me insights and possible answers.
I have been breaking my head and sleep over the answers I received from IC.

For my spritual betterment and to have rituals done, I have a choice of two Shaman's,
I have asked IC :
Will I succeed (get the work done) with Mr Y = Hex 52. lines 3.6. Relating Hex 2
Will I succeed (get the work done) with Mrs X = Hex 28. Relating Hex 28. (what r the odds?!?)

Really hope and pray for some valuable replies.

Mr. Y is an improvement over Mrs. X with 28 (an inherently bad situation). However, 52 promises obstructions or stillness where you have to wait for the proper moment, as is 2. You might want to seek a third shaman instead, Viv.

I think the way of Mr Y is meditation, while the way of Mrs X is confronting metaphysical matters directly. Since it's admittedly your choice, it's your choice.

Perhaps a useful quote will come from Confucius regarding 1.5 (quoted from Wilhelm):

Things that accord in tone vibrate together. Things that have affinity in their inmost natures seek one another. Water flows to what is wet, fire turns to what is dry. I Castes and Sooo thanks alot for your insights!!.

As I need work/rituals done asap and that the ritual must have a satisfactory ending. I only have choice of Mr Y and Mrs X. As I do not have experience in first hand dealings with them, I asked Iching to guide. (ic made me more confused)

I need to know who of them is capable, and that will be my choice....I didnot figure it out yet..

If I may quote Icastes freely: I have a choice of worse and worst
And sooo, how i see the way u interpreted it, is that Mr Y will take his time and postpone, whilst Mrs X will be hands on and do a satisfactory capable job?

Again really appreciate the input and please give me advice on what to do

Eh ? Theres no deal about the odds here as all you got was 28 with no moving lines.....therefore there was no relating hexagram. It may show as relating hexagram on the online thing becasue it has to put something in there...

Its good to figure how to do hand casts then you can understand how moving lines lead to the relating hex...no moving lines, no relating hexagram

I believe you got two different castings for why it doesn't matter which you choose. You will have a different experience with each, but your own susceptibility to matters that are spiritual is the operative feature -- and that is quite strong. The first reading I believe says that you have a basis yourself that can be influenced but not changed by anyone but you, and whatever transpires just accept and flow with it becaue it will automatically be in harmony with what you need at that moment. I have the feeling that you may be being lead by Mr Y, but you aren't being told what to be nor what to see, so as an experience, this way could have its value regardless of him. And what's in you, your readiness, decides that more than what's in Mr. Y or his philosophies. He is going through the ritual -- he himself is not the ritual, if that makes sense to you. So have no fear, what needs to happen is between you and a higher force than Mr. Y.

Again, with Ms. X, here you have the circular path. It almost doesn't matter where you enter, you will cover the entire circle to complete the cycle. She opens the experience at an entry point, she isn't the circle. The circle is it's own system that welcomes you and carries you.

I would say, don't look at them as so indicative of the rituals and their success. What you take from this process is well beyond them and they probably know that if they are true shamans with depth of experience. You will have the outcome you are prepared to have and the one you need whether it's efficient or not -- they are merely a guide to the gate and then to the exit. I think any truthful shaman would say that because they are the means, the transmission point, but even they don't know what goes on inside.
