constant references to travelling "out of body" in the southwest and the northeast
I have been living with and trying to live by the Yi King for almost 40 years, now. In literally hundreds of readings over that aeon of years, I have been provided with the advice to rise above and look down on what I am trying to understand, or to commune and communicate with spirits and travelers and "masters who walk beside me".
It was one of those things that I wrote off as symbolism, as a way of encouraging soul searching, or just ancient language translated as best as can be in today's world.
But around 6 months ago, I had an instance in which the same four or five reference passages came at me repeatedly during the course of a single week. I decided it was time I tried to enhance my meditations to develop some sort of actual capability to use trance and "vision" and out of body kinds of approaches. I surprised myself by doing things that I am reluctant to discuss in polite company, because there is always the threat of a strait jacket in the corners of my mind.
Throughout the next six months I revisited this type and style of meditation and found that it consistently results in progress, peace, and self knowledge. It goes exactly hand-in-hand with the I Ching or Yi King, and for me is always spurred on and suggested strongly by my readings here.
I recently have worked through a course in Quantum Jumping. Which is merely a consistent technique and a supportive structure for spiritual explorations outside one's physical body, and communicating with other versions of oneself (primarily). The discourse and shared successes, learning and modelling and correcting that is possible is [I'm sure] all in one's head, but the ability to tap those revealing resources and live within yourself, yet outside your [self-imposed] boundaries and structures is so liberating. It's an Incredibly effective solution. And it brings so much peace and self-trust.
This has doubled the effectiveness, accessibility, and clarity of my readings and explorations of myself and my life via the Yi King so much that I wanted to at least once share this with people who already value the "insights" and feedback from the universe that these reading offer.
If just one of you profit from this ancillary technique as I have, then this post will have been worth the minimal effort it has taken.
