hello! I really needed some help with 1.24 changing to 37. Here is the situation: I feel unacknowledged and unappreciated by a certain someone I care about. Let’s call him C. The resulting hex after consulting the oracle was 1.24 to 37. Line 2 mentions my influence is growing and I am being noticed, but the real game has not begun, and to align myself with an ally for a breakthrough. Line 4 says my creative power is growing and that in the end, the power rests with me: I will be able to choose whether or not I want to date him. The hex then morphs into 37, the family hexagram. Does this mean if I date him we’ll end up starting a family together?

It's auspicious to keep meeting with C (meet the great man, I assume that's him). It's also auspicious to sometimes decline meeing with him and let him sweat it a bit about you (1.4). Then chances are things will get much better.

I think 1.2 is confirming you see this man but there is distance, like he is a role model, someone whom you admire and are inspired by but are not necessarily close to. 1.4 is about how one can live their life at whatever level works in their situation - for example you can have all the drama of being an actress in a small town theatre production - you don't have to be on Broadway to have the experience of being a star. In this situation I believe the lines are encouraging you to enjoy knowing this man even though you aren't that close. 37. The Family suggests you are a part of the same group (work?) or have many values in common - however this could be also saying you are like family to each other - and therefore not suitable as lovers. So to put it all together as a response to "What will become of us?" I think there is a good chance you will move in the same circles and have mutual friends but I don't see this becoming an intimate relationship. Even so it appears he is a positive inspiration for you.

Hi rosada, thank you for putting your spin on things. At the moment, you are right, there is distance between us right now, but the reason for this distance is because I chose to pull away after feeling unappreciated by him as a person. And why did I feel unappreciated? He tried to sleep with me one night, and when he didn’t get what he wanted, his ego got all bruised and he behaved immaturely. Like I was only appreciated as a sex toy and not valued beyond that. It’s difficult because I have feelings for him and I am not sure where I stand. So I’m pulling away right now until he contacts. I’m not so sure intimacy is an issue because his sexual attraction to me is off the charts, he even admitted the night he tried to sleep with me, that he refused the invitation to see his visiting buddy (who was only there for 1day and he barely sees because the guy is in another country) just so he can be with me that night. But I do appreciate your view on this, because he used to be someone I admired until his ego ruined everything. Now I’m upset, and cast another hex just to see if the oracle knew how I was feeling about him and asked, how do I feel about C right now and what should I do? I got 38.1.6 to 40. It’s telling me not to run after him in line 1, that he’ll come back and contact me, and line 6 is so spot on about my feelings right now. I do see him as a pig covered in dirt presently, but it’s telling me not to shoot arrows at him because he’s a potential suitor. So I guess the resulting hex 40 means I’ll be delivered from feeling so angry at him soon and all will be well between us?
