Hello

I've asked the question "am I to be that person for someone and the other way around" by using the sticks method and received hexagram 33 with changing lines 1,3,4. I use the Rudolf and Karcher book.

I'm a bit puzzled if I understand the meaning correctly so if anyone can give his or her objective view on it, please kindly do so.

I've been prioritizing a hobby for the last five to ten years over a lot of other areas in life, such as my love life. With the exception of my family and in the meantime I do have a decent degree and job.
The hobby has helped me on numerous levels and I'm really happy to have invested time and money in it. I feel extremely lucky to have (had) great teachers. Lately however there's been fights. People have tried to get me involved into this but I'm not interested as the fights seem more destructive than constructive. More like ego and sheep following fights than creative or intelligent fights.
I feel like it's time for a love relationship and to avoid spending time with people who seem to care more about the spiritual path than the daily life reality (although they're not split up completely they are in some ways).

So I understand the hexagram as
"you can retreat from your teachers and study friends"
(I will continue practicing as I now have a decent foundation to work on and I can go back at a certain moment)

Then on the love front I don't understand things (as always)
there's the explanation of the counter hexagram "Power and Earth" leading to 44 "Coming to Meet"

There's also 9 on the fourth:
a. Love pulls back or b. A CHUN Tzu pulls back lovingly.

So I don't really know if I go out into the world (more likely to have a chance of meeting new people) doing new things or if I can just do things I'm used to and enjoy those.

I apologize for my limited English and my shallow insights.
