Feelings - 47.2,6 changing to 12

Hi all, I've never asked for reading about a question before, but I'm confused about this one. I asked how X feels about me and got 47 with changing lines 2 and 6, transforming into 12. Do I interpret this as difficulties? Are there feelings? Should I move on? Please help

Maybe that he feels oppressed and weak? But most probably Yi is telling you that this question is not appropriate. The book is not for prying into others' lives or hearts. I would try a different type of question (not yes/no or ...or/or) and one that involves you. Maybe about the relationship, or what you can expect from them in the relationship. Hope it helps

As per my understand the correct way of reading any hexagram or for that matter the Iching is that it tells your state of mind or though process of a particular situation and if your proceed with that state of mind you will get the desired result which is the resulting hexagram.

I asked how X feels about me, 47.2.6 > 12
X feels that the basics exist between you (food, drink) but that otherwise X feels very oppressed. X would ideally like to break free. 12 says that X feels there are some small gains in the overall situation, but not many.

Are there feelings?
Yes, the ones described above.

Should I move on?
You should sort out the oppression. Otherwise this is not going anywhere nice I'm afraid.
