"Transitional Hexagram" method requires changing the Hexagram in intermediate steps, starting with the lowest changing line. (Bradford)

Maybe this can be taken one step further.
When all changing lines have changed, non-changing lines are mature enough to start changing themselves too, starting with the lowest originally non-changing line.

So every Yi's response puts hexagrams in motion and the result is a sequence of twelve hexagrams which can form a circle because after twelve steps it returns to its original hexagram.

This describes a natural flow of hexagrams not only to the point of the Resultant Hexagram but also behind this point and since it forms a circle maybe it is possible to look backwards from the point of the Initial Hexagram. I don't know how useful can it be for interpretation, but at least it looks nice.

I believe your idea is the basis of the "Sovereign Gua of the Twelve Moons" series,
something that was part of the original Yi thinking. This permutes the Gua with Qian and Kun Ba Gua. The same can be done for the Gen-Dui, Kan-Li and Zhen-Xun hexagrams/
