Getting Closer to this Guy with Shared Values

Hello again!
I met a guy some months ago whom I found very attractive. Our working fields are similar & he is fairly well-known in it. I also know that we have shared values, interests and tastes, so I decided to get closer to him in person & tried to go to his hangouts and participate in the events he went. Our last meeting went really well: he came to sit on my table and randomly talked with me while we were both excited. It was four months ago and I didn’t manage to see him after that.

Now I’m thinking about finding a way to be part of his social circle and seeing him again.Maybe you think that’s too much effort. It can be. However, this type of socializing is convenient for me because of shared tastes and field. I’m likely to meet more people with similar minds, and tend to like the hangouts.

I asked: “How close will I get to X if I pursue this shared interests and events?”

I’m going to find my place in his circle little by little if I choose a friendly approach that gains others’ trust and makes them consider me a member of group. Then I’ll have the power to stand out without losing confidence & respect.

My efforts will lead to prosperity, whether it’s a relationship with this guy, or the new things I'll achieve through this journey.

I like your read ~ I think you have a good eye for the situation:

You should be able to get close enough to know if there is good chemistry between the two of you, while advancing yourself, at the same time?

Make small sacrifices as you introduce yourself to the members of the group. Have a professed noble goal in mind that requires the help of a wise man to reach, for which the others will offer their support.

The key is for you to have inner drive, but no external resistance of your own, and to go where the flow takes you.

Specifically, be looking for effortless entry into three different, but related, spheres ~ personal, social and professional. The prediction is for an easy success ~ overcoming earlier doubts ~ which will remain steadily productive, thereafter.

Along the way, you should be able to get close enough to X to know if there is good chemistry between the two of you?

I didn't get any closer to this guy. I somehow found it hard to enter his circle. They were all strangers and I had to pursue them "very" actively.
