hex 3 can feel very chaotic since it concerns the birthing of things. Its a time when nothing is known for sure, so its hard to make decisions since oneisn't sure whats going on...I think of hex 3 as almost primal chaos. The advice for 3 is generally not to try to make things certain, or take a definate route but to explore a little more and find helpers. helpers can be people or books or ideas, lots of things

I recall asking about depression twice when in the midst of it and getting hex 3. Suprising...but while things are still forming one can easily lose hope anything will ever take form at all...but one mustn't...its just everything takes time to be ready to be born.

With your reading the 47 as the backdrop to the question it could be you are pretty worn down and weary...and amidst this weariness you have the chaos of birthing, beginnings...lots of possibilities, no certain direction.

This reading reminds me of waliking into a totally chaotic room with the task of putting back some order, making it a room for some function, like bedroom or a kitchen or whatever and being so tired and exhausted just not being able to get going (47)

So first you may need to acknowlege theres some depression and feeling of restriction there (47) then not let it get to you, continue anyway (47)...continue through all the chaos.

Look for people, friends, others in similar situations perhaps that can advise you and help you (3.1) but don't take all offers of help out of this chaos (3.2) experiment but be careful not to take up offers of help if you aren't ready since that may compromise you (3.2) at some point you should be able to join with either a person or an enterprise, some kind of offer that really helps you get ahead again (3.4)

meantime hang on in there. I think attitude and patience might be important at this time. Don't worry about results now just keep doing the next thing...its like making a soup with everything in the fridge, you don't know how it will turn out but what you don't need is a voice in the background saying its pointless to try to make soup at all (that would be hex 47 talking) so play ,experiment, communicate, ask for help and advice, explore, don't fall into despondency and think more about the process of finding where you are headed as an adventure rather than worrying too much about final results

3 -- a problem in getting it all together. 47 -- restriction. Instead of trying to solve all your problems at once, Pick one, work on it until it's no longer a problem and then go to the next.

Great advice. Exactly how to untangle a fishing reel backlash (bird's nest). And, have to begin only with the one nearest the surface of the spool. Worst thing is to just start tugging on the line because it just digs the line over-runs in deeper. Once that happens, break out the knife and start cutting through the tangles, which is a waste of line, time and money. (somehow I think you already are aware of this).

Alas, Soo, you and I are from different galaxies. Sometimes I'm glad I don't have your insights, and sometimes (like now) I wish I really did.

47. The superior man stakes his life on following his will.

3. Difficulty at the Beginning.
The superior man brings order out of confusion.

It appears you are in a situation where you feel you are without kindred spirits. Perhaps you have gifts and insights to offer that are unrecognized, under valued, by the people around you.

3.1 Find some one who can help you in some small way. Perhaps a neighbor could give you a ride - they don't have to share your political or religious beliefs.
3.2 Do they try to help, are you concerned they may try to take over, convert you? Don't worry, get to know the world of others before you try to share your world.
3.4 Let it be mutual - let others help you - see how you can assist others.

47. Others may not recognize what you have to offer. Offer it anyway. It may take time but ultimately you will be in sync with the flow.

It's sort of saying that you must have faith that you will get through this even though it's utter chaos at the moment and that you must tackle problems one at the time and get some help (but evaluate the help before you accept it). I've received this combo before when in a middle of complete mind meltdown. You just need to keep coming back to basics and try to deal with only those things you feel you can manage (don't overexend yourself). Good luck!
