Happy new year everyone!
I am new to the yijing and starting to explore hexagrams of context. I will illustrate my question:
If I had for instance
35.2.5.6 > 47
Do I consider nuclear and complementary hexagrams of 35 or 47 or both?
And should I always consider them or only if I do/don't have changing lines?
Thank you so much for your help

I think some people enjoy the more 'technical' approach though so its to their taste and works for them so i think as a newbie if it really draws you to look for for line pathways and patterns and so on you should follow that. Its a very individual thing. But if it all just seems to make interpretation too complex i think you shouldn't worry about it.
Thanks Ile!
I used to see the second hexagram as the result, but then, after reading the posts here I saw that the majority of people mostly consider the first one and changing lines, so lately I was doing that.
It is good to see a different perspective on that, since I still haven't found what it is best for me.
I will go back to my readings and see what I can learn from your input.
Namaste!
