hex 42.1 -> 20 - health related question

Good evening,

I am concerned about my mother's health and thought to ask the i ching before I continue worrying and making myself miserable:

The question: "How is my mother's health going to develop in 2013?"

It gave me hex 42 (increase) with the first line changing (9) which leads to hex 20 (observation).

First line:
‘Harvest when you apply this to make great beginnings.
From the source, good fortune, no mistake.’

It is in general a positive line but how do I interpret the change to 20?

According to theory;
Line 3 is the host line (a female) with an illness
The main line 3 is a female, dragon earth.
The hidden line 3 is the illness line (ghost line with roaster metal).
By five elements standard, the dragon earth and the roaster metal merges. This illness is with your mom.

Theory:
官藏世下，病起如前。
（本宫鬼官伏在世下，必是旧病重发。若伏鬼不伤用爻，而用爻反被世克者，前日病轻，今日反沉重。如伏鬼刑伤用爻，而用爻反得世爻生扶者，前日病重，今日轻。用爻妻病看财爻类。）

This means if the host line has an illness hidden line, the illness will re-appear. There was a previous history. In this case, it is not possible to predict whether the illness reappearance is just a simple reoccurance with quick recovery or serious illness.

鬼伏卦中，病来莫觉；
You will not when the illness will reappear.

若伏妻财，必是伤饥失饱. 鬼伏财下，必是饮食不节，伤饥失饱，或因财物起因，或因妇人得病。
The illness line is hidden under the wife/wealth line. This has something to do eating habits, digestive system. Or another female may upset her and cause the illness to reappear.

In any event, the ghost/officer line does not appear as main line in both hexagrams. You will not know the cause of the disaese or illness.

Line is a the parent line (your mom) and is also the change line to another female or wife line. The wife line is considered the source and cause of the illness (in this case, the earth line, ram). Nothing is going to happen yet in the next while.


Line 6 in both hexagram is the care taker line (doctor, nurse etc.)
Line 2 and 5 of hexagram 20 is the medication line. The medication is the fire element, snake character. Fire suppress metal, the illness. Medication will be required as a means of treatment.

At the time of reading, she is OK because the metal is the empty spot under the day of your reading.
