I know this is an old thread, but I just have to comment. No offense Bradford- but as a man I'm sure you are not aware that it can take weeks for a pregnancy test to show positive. This is why women ask these questions. My last pregnancy I was 4 weeks pregnant before an over-the-counter test showed positive. I felt funny and took a test probably around a week after conception, and it say nope. Also, I had a really weird short period before that seemed to me to indicate pregnancy, but I had no way to prove it. Once again, I was 4, nearly 5 weeks pregnant before a test showed it. On a side note this is also why the new "heart beat" laws are so heinous. Many women do not know they are pregnant before 6 weeks, and at that point yes a "beat" of sorts can be detected, which is not actually a 4 chamber actual heart, but a small underformed "pumping" mechanism. At this stage the fetus is not even yet a fetus but an embryo. I digress, but the point being actually symptoms of your period, peri-menopause, pregnancy, misscarriage, and also just hormonal changes can look and feel like an early pregnancy and there is no way to tell which it is for weeks. Sorry to soap-box on this post, but I keep running into this same thing across the forum and want to explain for all of the women who are asking Yi instead of "ClearBlue" or whatever. There's a more accurate oracle for this that involves peeing on a magical stick. Sounds superstitious, I know, but some women swear by it.
His point was that asking Yi really is not proof of pregnancy and therefore all anyone will get is guesses. I can see why a woman would ask but I don't see posting here is really going to help very much since she will get guesses of 'yes you are' or 'no you're not' which isn't proof. It doesn't really get her anywhere further forward does it? I do understand why she'd ask and post though, almost a support thing, but there isn't really much point in terms of actually knowing.Sorry to soap-box on this post, but I keep running into this same thing across the forum and want to explain for all of the women who are asking Yi instead of "ClearBlue" or whatever.
