Hex 52 confusion

After a lengthy hiatus, my "friend" is calling me again. He called me on Saturday...he didn't leave a message. I asked the yi "why did he call?" and I got 52 unchanged.

I'm confused because this hex means "inaction" or "keeping still" but clearly he's acting, is he not? Is there a meaning to this I couuld be missing?

By the way, you might be asking "why don't you call him back and ask?" That's a good question...I have my reasons.

Why did he call? 52.

My gut feeling is that 52 could have to do with you. Sometimes we want something to happen very badly, are attached to certain outcomes, and this sort of "havng an agenda" or "wanting" creates static or interference in the energy field. Conversely, when we let go, in peace and surrender, the way is cleared for communication. I notice in my own life that I "run into" certain people/situations which correspond to my mental field of activity - sort of like as my wavelength changes, so do the oportunities - or lack of.

Maybe you have opened up a field of invitation by letting go?

OR, maybe he is finally relaxed and inclined to follow up on things, himself.

Or, maybe 52 could advise you not to wonder, as in "dont even go there", be still and let him reveal himself when he is ready to leave a message!
(I wouldnt call him back until he does, btw.)

Your interpretation resonates with me, thank you! I HAVE been working on letting go. And I DID finally come to a place of peace around the "situation".

But, now I'm finding these little "non- calls" are bringing up attachment issues again and I'm back to the letting go process again...much easier the second time around though!

I agree that until it's a "real" call I see no reason to call back, I'm glad you feel this way too..

I was also thinking that Hex 52 might actually point to the "inaction" of the "action". Yes, he DID call, but he failed to follow through and say anything....
