Hello all, this is my first post though I've been lurking for quite some time, often using interpretations to guide my relationship that has just ended.

For the last two years I dated an old friend for quite some time. I was his first everyrhing and communication was not his strong suit and things very much soured between us and finally he decided it was all too much.

I am responsible for a lot of the problems we had as distance made me feel insane and I stopped going to counselling due to a busy schedule. A lot of my obsessive tendencies are resurfacing- its even manifested itself in tons of fruitless yi readings. I thought the first step in the process of healing (until my insurance dinally calls back and helps me find a therapist), instead of asking tons of questions about if we have potential if I "get better", is to try to get better and later on see what happens. So I did a reading on what would best help me and I thought it'd be best to talk about it to people instead of interpreting my own reply a thousand ways!

So, I apologize for the long message but my question was How do I find stability and strength to be better in this moment? and the reply was 61.4 changing to 10.

Thank you kindly!

Hi there Ac,

If you're looking for focus, I'd say line 61.4 has a wonderful full moon image to keep in mind. An interesting thing about the moon is that it is reflected light. Imo, it affirms keeping a therapist, other role models, and friends around that you can trust to reflect things back to you in a balanced way, ultimately strengthening that role within yourself.

The line also reminds me of a quote from a book I had written down somewhere, but can't find now, about someone working with the "lepers" on Kalaupapa, Hawaii. The point was advice on being careful about how one approached them because they would see themselves reflected in others' eyes. In other words, if one approached them with loving eyes, it would enhance their seeing themselves as beautiful, gifted individuals. If one approached them with fear and revulsion, they would see themselves in that light instead. It always struck me how true that is for everyone really in how we see others and how we see ourselves.

61 is about clarity. Knowing what really is going on. Try and see things as subjectively as possible but do focus on yourself and needs. Then properly conduct (10) yourself in relationship to other people.

Dare to leave your dependency on your keepers, go out the gate and find your own path, on your own two feet, or four hooves.

Iams girl, Thank you so much for the detailed response. The full moon interpretation is really insightful. I wouldn't have thought of it that way, which I see is a testament to the advice of listening to others for a balanced view :)

When I've felt depressed recently I have noticed that my interactions have a sort of chain reaction to them. If I'm feeling somewhat self conscious and I do nothing to overcome it and bridge the gap in our interaction I find myself feeling even worse. I used to be really good at "bootstrapping", and abolishing insecurity so maybe its time I act like the horse who doesn't think about their own needs but just does what it needs to do. Haha I hope that makes sense.

Thank you, gti112. I struggle with subjectivity...I tend to bounce around from seeing things 100% through my eyes or 100% through the eyes of another. I guess all signs just point to "talk to someone"!

Thank you, sooo. There are definitely dependencies I need to overcome, I guess its just hard trying to figure oout how to release them and carve a new path. Another hex that has come up often for me is 27, which talks about how we "nourish" ourselves...I've never been too great about my diet metaphorically or literally :0

Understandable. The horse in line 4 isn't usually a loner, he or she is a team horse, might say a team player. But the danger with being a team player is being absorbed so thoroughly into the pack that you forget who you are, and what your truth is. The nourishment spoken of here is the manner in which you acquire your security. Without this inner security your legs buckle and waver with the tide of opinion and concern over your popularity, rather than food for your spirit. A good horse must have spirit, even as a team player.

The moon which is nearly full reflects strong instincts, an inner calling. Will you listen to that call, or are you afraid of leaving your stall? That's the question line 4 asks.
