Hello all,
I have just joined this site and have also up until fairly recently been new to the wonders of i ching. A close friend of mine did a reading for me when I was not present and I started to believe in its power when I did a reading with him and got the same number as he had got (13). This was asking about my relationship.
Unfortunately I have just broken up with my boyfriend and unlike the readings the same friend did for me a long time ago during another break-up, have had what seems to me to be positive hexagrams when I ask what the potential is for us to get back together. As in my heart, I know my ex still loves me and even during an email conversation today told me he misses me, but feels us breaking up is the right decision because of arguments we had. If I know him at all, along with my trusting my intuition, it his fear of failure that is keeping us apart.
I do not know if it is healthy to do reading after reading which I have done this past week. But it is the number 11 which seems to keep cropping up when I ask the above question. I realise asking an open question is better than a closed one, but knew my real question was to ask if we would get back together and the numbers I got were 25 for the present situation and again 11 for the future.
I have read some threads saying 11 is the hexagram closest to 'love' but considering it is the number, as I have said already, to keep reappearing, is this a message from the i ching that there is a chance of us getting back together or am I just deluding myself? It is probably inevitable we will see each other again because of mutual friends, demographics, shared interest in music venues and pubs etc, yet I am now starting to apply for jobs out of our city because if we were to not get back together I do not think I could carry on in the same town as him, because I am madly in love with him.
