thank you very much for this kind of approach TrojinaThat's clearly not what it says.
I don't buy all this 'mission in life' malarkey. Living your life is your mission in life, that's quite enough without imagining you need to have some grand mission. As John Lennon said (I think) 'Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans' something like that. There's no need for big missions, what matters is you, your experience, being you, your connections to others.
Regarding the readings it's like well your life came about through an outpouring of blessing. 42>41, the cycle of increase and decrease. 42.5 is absolutely lovely here don't you think
It says from Hilary/wiki
'Sincere and confident, with a benevolent heart,
No question: good fortune from the source.
Sincerity, confidence and benevolence are my own de.'
That's an incredibly direct answer. There's no doubts, being sincere and true and kind are all that matter and your answer says those are your birth right.
Wilhelm's translation is more direct and sweeter
'If in truth you have a kind heart, ask not.
Supreme good fortune.
Truly kindness will be recognised as your virtue.'
So it's saying you don't need to ask about your life mission, a kind heart is all you are asked to give and that is what you have and so no you aren't a bad person. In the end no life mission will ever count for as much as having a kind heart. perhaps your life mission is sharing the kindness you have within you. Every single impulse you have towards kindness whether towards an animal or a person is your life mission right there.
42.2 here I think asks you to regard your life as a great blessing. It may not feel like it but you haven't lived it all yet.
