Hexagram 43 Unchanging - Increase Income

Hi

I have an important question relating to work.

I need money to expand my business. I have some life changing opportunities but need money to do it.

I have read and am still reading the unchanging hexagram threads.

One of the main issues I have is getting people to actual view the presentation. Once they do the hit rate is an incredible 60%. Its so annoying, the accounts manager said to ask them what time or day they will be viewing them.

I really need to be more clearer on this issue.

Maybe thats what I am being advised. I guess if that is the key to the lock then I should be doing that.

What do you think the advice of hexagram 43 in this instance.

Just to be clearer on the sales process, basically we approach business' if the person is interested then we send a presentation and then follow that up.

43. Break-through gives advice on how one can successfully handle situations where clarity, honesty and friendship ease tension and prevent the disasters too much pressure can create. So yes, I think 43 is telling you to be clear in your approach and also emphasizing the importance of not taking delays and rejection personally. The future of your project brightens as all parties recognize the good in you and sensing that by joining with you this good will be passed on to them..

From what I’m reading it looks like you have to be clear and confident in your strategy but don’t disclose too much it may jeopardize your goals. Be calm and patient and try not to use any force or forceful strategies to get your sales pitch or points across.

Sometimes in presentations or conversations we reveal too much information that could be left for another time/place. Perhaps this is saying hold back on certain things but be truthful and honest according to the situation and don’t let the ego get in the way.

In a sales perspective I would say think of how you can get the prospects interested without being too pushy. Believe in your product but of course the key is to get people to agree to say yes to the presentation. Observe what works and what doesn’t and craft your skills or approach to match each person or company differently.

I agree with what Rosada said.

Good luck Steve. I know sometimes we get anxious and I am very guilty of it but meditation or a walking meditation will be a great addition to your routine.

Thank you both for your replies, they both make sense.
If I can hit my targets some doors are really going to open.
Maybe I should ask what is the best way to get them to read or watch the presentation.

I am not having issues getting them to agree to it, its actually getting them to watch it.
Time is a factor in this day and age.
What jumped out at me is that maybe i need to be clearer on that part of the process.
I mean whats the point of the whole exercise if they are not going to watch it.

However the other advice you have both given makes sense as well.

I’m not sure what the presentation is about or how long it is but I’m curious if there’s a possibility you can be there to view with them or Perhaps look into some kind of technology that will allow a conference viewing? Just a thought?

Thats a brilliant idea, THANK YOU. I would probably get less leads but I could close the sales at a higher price.

Generally the presentation only goes for 10 minutes however if I told them the whole process is 20 - 30 minutes then that would be enough.

I do have a small update , i think its a matter of staying professional, clear cut and it does seem to be working better. Not being sooo friendly with clients I guess there is a fine line.

I guess I am thinking do I really want this change or dont I?
I am pretty sure I do
I have been casting unchanging 7's but maybe i didnt get the message.

I am experiencing hexagram 47 unchanging as possibly the elite sniper in the army. His actions are not so much of a General but getting the job done with no messing around.
Not so much organising but doing or saying what needs to be done, then organise myself later.
Or am i still not getting the advice?

Its like to me if i take were the words of TZU i am your general you are my emperor.
So my thoughts are you want to be the emperor but you need to take the actions of a good general
Then later it will be much easier to be organised, but only after a strong decision has been taken.


Seems to be working, I am getting taken more seriously

I am unclear about your reference to hexagram 47 uc. Where did that come from? I mean, this thread is about hex.43, right? Did you miss type or is 47 in response to a different question?
