Hello friends! I changed this morning, asked 'What is the point of the relationship between X and myself." Got 46 no moving lines. Curious, we aren't together anymore, I'm just having a very difficult time moving on. I want to so badly. Its been about 7 months of this yuck feeling.

Why not take it literally and take things one step at a time? It's pretty clear about that.
But the steps have to be taken in a forward direction, and not backing up.

It may help if you're willing to supply any details about the situation...

It could mean pushing upward/step by step in the sense of becoming strong and independent of this person and it could mean pushing upward/step by step reestablishing things with this person...

However since you've asked about the relationship, maybe the relationship is meant to be a pushing upward, progress step by step relationship. Often one of the main killers of relationships is lack of growth, individually and together. When this happens, one person usually isn't making as much effort as the other.

Thanks for replying everyone. Basically we met, had an intense relationship very quickly, and then he got scared. Started questioning everything, one day he tells me he doesn't know..the next day he says he can't. Its just been a lot of back and forth for a long time. He told me today that he is nothing, that he less than nothing, he is a black hole, and that I deserve better. Its just been a weird experience. And that he will always love me, but he is a black hole.

I wonder if he may be suffering from depression?

Going by the image, you have wind/wood underneath the earth. The situation looks like a growing process which has not yet emerged into light. Sunshine is always good in such cases. :)

Is the growing your own? His? Both?

If he says "I'm nothing, a black hole" he's giving voice to the dark earthiness which covers up his own germinating seed. Maybe he feels there's something deficient about being in an earthy phase.

I'm sorry, but I feel advice is coming out. Please pardon: for your own sake, be mindful of the possibility of getting into a helper-victim dynamic. The black hole image can be seductive and disempowering. Shine light and encourage life to show forth (in self and in him), but remain in your own center.

In my experience in relationships...

He tells you he is a black hole for one of two reasons:

Yes he could just have a very low opinion of himself

Or he really IS a black hole(at least at this point in time) and is giving you fair warning to save yourself.
