Hexagram 49.1.2.5 > 32 ...Should I let go?

Hi everyone,
I am sharing my reading for the first time here though I have been consulting the iching for around 10 years now... bt as I am stuck in a situation where I cannot really understand what to do... whether to let go or not..

so the question was 'should I let go?' using the online version and received hexagram 49.1.2.5 changing to 32.. Does it mean I should abstain and that the current situation will last here?

Your help will be most appreciated..

Hi V,

Yes you should let go, 49 is a Revolution/Molting hex. Change is in the air.
1. You feel the need for a change.
2. When you break-up all the ties in your mind you can proceed with the revolution.
5. If you follow the advice from line 2 the revolution will be swift and the people around you will treat you accordingly. They will respect your inner change.

Internal hex is 44.1.6(Seduction) -> 43 (Separation)
1. You need to stop with your current affair/desire, as soon as possible.
6. It's ok to use force/abrupt break-up.

I don't know. I don't think it has to mean you need to let go it really depends on the situation which only you know about. It's a nice reading....it may mean you change how things usually happen between you , 32 suggests this is an on going thing. Perhaps it becomes a different kind of thing in an on going situation.

But I don't know. This really is not a yes/no answer. 49 need not mean 'let go' it can just mean change, transformation.

thanks a lot for your interpretation.. the situation is quite simple.. we meet at professional level..almost 2 yrs now.. with lots of trust, understanding and mutual cooperation... bt on the other hand, we do not go too far in discussing our private lives..I feel very drawn to him these days bt I am stuck and am afraid this can spoil the whole atmosphere..

As from Ash interpretation, there need be change bt maybe as you say not necessarily in terms of letting go, bt change in other ways..

So maybe the first line indicates the first step- 'Changes ought to be undertaken only when there is nothing else to be done.Therefore at first the utmost restraint is necessary ' ?

Million thanks for this reading...amazing I must say... you are very right and I will just quote the whole reading and confirm while am confused at some instances... pls do help me with the lines if possible...

Just an update and a thank you note to Ash, Trojina & Long Yi,

I got a shock today after trying in vain to contact the guy to talk... bt I learnt via others that he is back with his ex GF just now.. so time for me to move on and rethink if I need to make a change in my professional way as well..

Thanks to you guys I did feel hurt bt maybe to a much lesser extent if I had not been foretold abt the pitfalls!!

This explains: 49.2: officer (him) chou earth moving towards a third person hai water.
the following are my guess
49.3 this third person hai water has a female wu fire behind it.
The third person set the female wu fire free: meaning that the third person and his ex GF are sort of seeing it each other. However, the third person sets his ex-GF free.

If such assumptions is correct, this is why 49.5 relationship is taking a step back to 32.5
If he occupies 32.6 xu earth and partially coupled with 32.4 wu fire female, he is waiting for his ex-GF to clear her previous relationship with the third party.

Matter for him and ext GF will become clear in March 2014 (month of mao wood). Mao wood pushed the 49.5 you metal relationship into action (his relationship). Feb 2014 is the month of yin wood. Yin wood couples with officer line 32.6 xu earth and also female wu fire to form fire. It is all her (ex-GF) and no else.
