Hi everyone

My name is Mihai.
I am new to this.
Prehaps my question is not so good but I asked "who are you?" and "are you real?"
I asked this two times.
First time the answer was hexagram nr 31 changing to hexagram 55.
The second time the answer was hexagram nr 45. (no changing lines)
I don't know... this feels confusing.

I wonder, the fact that I throw some coins is not a random fact?
Who invented this, how did he had the idea? (I've read some by watching nature and how things change but I don't seem to get it. I mean, I wouldn't have come up with this idea (oracle) just by watching nature or something like that.)
Can this yi ching help me? Well, since I've heard and read that many people are/were helped by this, prehaps the answer to this question is yes.
But I don't seem to get it.
What if there was no book? How would I have read the lines?
If I hold a question in my mind, is it not the same thing as asking yi a question, recevie answer, and hold the question and answer in mind? Is it a difference?

Anyway, I think I'll keep reading about this and trying. Who knows? Maybe I get lucky and figure things out.

Thank you !

Welcome Mihai.

I looked at your post, and I found myself asking, who are these questions directed to? Who or what are they about? Are you asking 'who' the I Ching is and if it is real? Or are you asking these questions of yourself? Who are you, and are you real? (Or perhaps someone else?)

Also, you really have two questions here - which I think you've asked two times? And that is confusing, at least to me. It's like asking: are you green and do you taste good? And, are you green and do you taste good? - Hopefully we're asking this about an apple, and not ourselves! but it's still combining two questions into one, and asking it two times!

So, by way of a suggestion: maybe try starting with just one question and one reading, and go from there.

Best, D
