What to do about the living situation w X?

Long story short I have decided to end things with my partner of 8 years due to complex longterm challenges. I have asked him to leave the house. I ask this question because I doubt my decision almost every moment of everyday and know how hard things will be for him.

Let go of my preconceived notions, obsessions, attachments to this relationship? I've had a couple of dreams now of "losing my identity" (ID cards), so it feels important and I don't want to be misinterpreting this one.

Part of me wants to believe he is my support, to run to him and disperse this request/idea. Really stuck and torn. Appreciate any interpretations on these lines. Thank you.

Maybe the IC could be saying that in order to have a good relationship with him you would have to totally abandon your boundaries and sense of self to Progress, so is that what you want? If not, maybe it‘s referring to your concern for him and maybe you are thinking you may need to be ease up some of your demands - like give him more time to relocate? - to help make this transition as smooth as possible.

On your first reading: Each time I divinate on this relationship I get conflicting readings. There has already been a pattern of going back and forth on this decision. The most recent time I reinstated this request "death" flew out the Tarot deck at me when asking what is happening.

The issue of abandoning my boundaries and sense of self is the root of my decision to break things off. I don't feel like myself anymore. I understand these things are more complicated than pointing fingers, though. Really amazing how insightful your interpretations are.

I have given no time frame. However I have not been supportive with this transition.. I want to be but am so fearful. I will make an effort with this. I also welcome any tips anyone may have on making this a smooth transition as I have never experienced this situation before. Thank you.
