Importing Pictures

When I import a picture ( mostly jpg) through 'Insert / Insert Image' it takes over the whole of the Entry box and much more beyond. Although I've been trying I'm unable to make the image smaller so that I can see the whole of the image the size available when all 3 screens are up and showing a solution so far eludes me.

Any insights, work arounds etc would be greatly appreciated.

I'm afraid there isn't an option to resize the image inside the Journal, so you'll need to shrink it before adding. There are various free online editors that'll do this, but I use Irfanview to save the extra upload/download. You want the 'resize/resample' option - CTRL+R.

Microsoft Paint will do this, too. I've used both it and Irfanview. In Paint use the "Home" tab and then "Resize."
