I like the woman and appreciate many things she does. But interactions with my mother-in-law can be frustrating. She has a pattern that she plays out (as each of us do)... her's pushes my buttons. So I asked the Yi why interactions and thoughts of future interactons with mum can sometimes really piss me off.

I can pinpoint what she does that angers me (and others) because it is apparent to me that when she doesnt get her way she specifically prods for that purpose. Must have been a behavior she developed out of necessity. Unlike her husband, I do not tolerate certain things and will let th at be known in cases where he would suck it up (it's their pattern, not mine.)

But I was also hoping to get some insight into what it is about me that is contributing to this frustration.

The Yi replied to my enquiry with 27.4.5.6>17

I feel like 27.4 really speaks about her, but perhaps you see it from a different persepctive. What are your thoughts?

Why do interactions with my mother in law sometimes piss me off?

Following (17) nourishment (27)
The three upper lines are changing. These lines indicate nourishment and care of others, in a higher, spiritual sense.
line 4: getting what you need
line 5: feed with what really nourishes you
line 6: you are the source of your own nourishment

I think the Yi is advising you to follow what truly nourishes you. As a result the interaction with your mother in law should eventually stop triggering you the way it does right now. Often we focus on the problem itself in our efforts to solve it. Try and redirect your focus on positive things. Maybe find out if there are elements present in your relationship with your mother in law that do work and go from there.

I am not exactly a specialist in conversing with the Yi, but I hope this helps a little :bows:
