Investing energy into a relationship

So, here’s my question. The connection with my love interest continues to grow in intensity. However, she is in a current relationship that by her account is not progressing, but she is concerned about hurting him by breaking it off. While I would argue what he does not know indeed hurts him, I can empathize with her dilemma.

Over the last several weeks, I’ve regularly consulted the I Ching and with consistent results fortifying what my heart continues to inform me. Today, like past days, I asked the question “What will my life look like if I continue to invest my energy and affections into [this person]”. I received 61 > 42. I believe this to be an especially auspicious outcome. Am I correct?

61.1 She is in a relationship this year (si fire, relationship document).

Hexagram 42 is good for relationship and marriages. However, since this is a triangle relationship. It does not tell whether you have a chance.

Both upper and lower triagram are sun wood and chen wood respectively in hex 42. The gentleness of the wind from top shares the bottom, but there is no materialistic or romantic gain for you.

You may give it a go. The timing is not right. Her soul is not available free. Let see what happens after August 4, 2013 for the 30 days.

The problem is that you are after someone in another relationship. As a man, it is never the right thing to do until such time the female is available out of the existing relationship.

I wanted to add that it was she who made the initial advances for me. And for my part, I've initiated the end of a seven year relationship (marriage) as a result of meeting her (and I desire to be honest with my wife).

The August 4th timetable feels correct on all levels...intuitively.
