is Hexagram 37 bad luck for a man?

Hi all

It's me again, I have travelled to see my wife and my son and I thought I have cleared all the issues with my wife. She agreed for me to take my son home which is a good start. I have got my son back only in the last 24 hours.

I asked the Yi if we still have future together. The answer is 37 + line 4 and 6

My understading is that Hexagram 37 is generally negetive if the enquirer is a man ( the opposit is true for a female). However, line 4 and 6 seem positive but I just want to hear from unbisaed sources(and what about Hex 49)? Any help is greatly appreciated

Hex 37.6 says if you are of good character, then all will go well in your family and with your wife.

Hex 49 says revolution, strip away the old, forget about the past. On your day, or at the right moment talk to your wife, present yourself in a reformed way, proceed carefully, do not act out of selfishness, discuss the problem and be reasonable then she will believe what you have to say is the truth, your sorrow and regrets will disappear. Supreme success.

I believe that this and the previous answer (hex3.4>17) that I gave you, gives you new hope for the future, plus a renewed relationship with your wife.

Thank you very much for your comments. My worry lies in line 4. There are two alternative intepretations
1. If your wife behaves in such and such manner, the family will prosper
2. Your wife would behave in such a way that keeps the family together

I am inclined to intepretation 2 as the first one is so obvious and could have come from any one with half the brain, I would expect a bit more from the sage.

You are also right about line 6, in the last couple of months, I have gone through so much soul searching and identified many things that I could have done better. The process was one of the most painful one in my life. The result is that my councilor was surprise at the shift in my perception. I do hope that self improvement is the source of future good fortune.

BTW, before meeting with my wife, I asked the Yi what would happen next, I got Hex 50 +2+3 ->35. And it was so correct. Line 2 refer to this person who wants to keep my son but has to let him go very reluctantly. Line 3 refers to the fat of the pheasant not being eaten and regret only vanishes at the end. ie, my wife would not come back with me this time.
I did not try to convince my wife to come back with me as I respect her free will. It would be much better if she chooses to return without undue pressure. The resulting hexagram is 35 predicts that from now on, the going would not be as difficult as before and that I think she would come back before too long. Have I got this right?

What is the idea behind the name Willowfox? is this a character from folklore? It is a little mysterious but a good name

Line 4 your first interpretaion that you have given is the correct one. Don't panic.

Read what I wrote for hex 49 that will answer the question concerning the return of your wife.

As for hex 35 says to advance, be noticed, prospering. You will be rewarded in your pursuit of your wife, success. Progress, advancing leads to rewards, rewards are the return of your wife, I hope that this is what you wanted for your christmas present.

willowfox, oh willowfox, where art thou now, what secrets do you hide. A name is not just a name but a way of life. Maybe in the future it will be a character from folklore.

Hello. I think this reading is talking about any future you have with your mate you all should really work on being a good example to the children. Working on building character/spirituality, financial discipline and such and instill that in your children. Any future that you have with your mate that should be an inportant focus. As a side note even if there is no future the focus should be on rasing the children right.

Hexagram 49 maybe talking about anything out of the ordinary/radical you may be doing should be carefully planned out, etc.
