The initial response looks positive. H2 suggests success in following that pull you are feeling. Your Self wants you to make music. I'm saying make because although your question is about learning, the key thing is making. In the US the biker say Live to Ride, Ride to Live. Maybe for you it's Learn to Make, Make to Learn. Line 3 puts a spin on it -- to me it seems to be saying "don't worry about making it too official or formal." You mention you have a child. I can't think of a better way to teach a child music than to model how enjoyable it is to just pick up a thing that can make sound and play some music, an instant source of unlimited free fun. I hope you can pursue your music and have a ton of fun doing it.Dear community,
I live in small village in the mountains. We have here a small music school with teachers for flute, piano and guitar, so I am wondering if learning music again. I studied piano and transverse flute for years when I was a kid but hated it as the way to learn in my native country was not playful and very austere.I rejected playing music from one day to the another in my teenage years, as I was feeling very frustrated. Playing ranges was then my musical horizon and nothing that was feeding my heart and my hears.
I am now in my forties, I love music and I feel some strong attraction to come back to learn playing music again.
I almost forgot everything I learnt in my young years.
As I am working, studying and having one kid, - I am busy - I wonder myself if it's realistic to come back to learn music.
I have been asking:
· With respect, what is the potential of learning music again ( at my village music school )? 2.3 > 15
2.3 > 15 Concealed qualities permit divination. The consequence may be king's affairs. Without accomplishment, he completes
Sounds positive, like a peaceful constancy in learning with humility would bring me fulfillment to play. It sounds I could persevere at this time when I was unable to persevere being younger...
· What potential if I learn / go to piano class? 52.5 > 53
52. 5 Stabilize one's jawbone. The words have order. Regrets disappear.
Being sincere I don't understand that one on this context..It looks like 53 hexagram perspective is that allowing some hard progress but 52. line 5 sounds like I should not talk? (Can't understand this...)
· What potential if I learn flute / go to flute class? 10.1.6 > 47
It sounds it's more easy going to learn flute again, perhaps more rewarding or easier but the related hexagram 47 is about being confined, so it makes me confused.
The 2 last questions have their importance, as it's not the same cost buying each instrument - flute or a piano for this new hobby? I love both - I can't make up my mind about which one...And I feel I need weekly class in order to stick and progress.
Thank you to the community for their advice and help.
Hello Torshavn!
The 2nd hexagram, often called "The Receptive," signifies a receptive and open attitude. It suggests being adaptable, flexible, and willing to embrace new learning experiences. This hexagram encourages you to be open to the idea of returning to music and exploring it once again.
Absolutely! If, based on an inner urging and external opportunities (you noticed the music school in the village), you get back to what you used to love, you'll be following the laws of the physical world and of your own part in it as a growing being. That's the Oracle's take on your first question. Did you feel a surge of life and encouragement when you got that answer?Dear community,
