Neighbours moving out? 12.4>20

In the block of units, I''m staying in for now, there is one particular neighbour who is more than disrespectful and noisy. The police have been called numerous times and they got fined the other night. The real estate that manages the unit has been trying to speak with them to terminate their lease. She hasn't had much success as they either don't take her call or pretend they're not there if she knocks on their door.

Show me a picture of the neighbours moving out within the next couple of weeks.

Hex 12 sounds like it's describing the situation and how the neighbours took the behaviour to the nth degree
Line 4 suggests that things have been put in place to terminate the lease but we've just got to sit back and wait for it all to come to pass.

Hex 20 - I don't know in this case.

Hmm, it's hard to tell from your framing of the situation how involved you've been or how much their disruption has directly impacted you. It seems more that you are asking out of interest for the real estate company or perhaps other neighbors (such as the ones who have called the police), and are at a more remote position in the building (perhaps also since you are staying there, but not a leaseholder yourself, etc.)

What I'm getting at it is that Hexagram 20 seems to describe your position exactly. You're contemplating it all but at a slight remove. In this case I think the resulting hex is describing the environment or your position. And yes, 12.4 does make me think the ball is already rolling for them to be booted out.

Thanks mulberry - no I'm directly involved and last night again I was disturbed by these neighbours. It's having an effect on my health and my ability to study etc. during the day as I'm too tired when I'm awake and have to sleep during the day.
Hex 20 possibly means I'm keeping myself anonymous as the neighbours could well do me harm if they knew it was me and there is nothing I can do but watch the real estate and police deal with it.

Hex 19 looks to me like they have been approached and Line 3 says it's been a bit difficult and the real estate has had to work out some kind of plan. She did tell me that she's trying to work out the quickest and easiest way to get them out.
Line 6 - some sort of progress seems to have happened.
The 8th month, August, still a couple of weeks away yet eh!
Please show what I can do to help progress the eviction of these neighbours

26.3 implies defensive measures and urges persistence. Doesn't 26.6 imply that the whole situation will open up and be released? It seems you will soon be rid of these bad neighbors. I always think that September is the 8th month, because in China the first month of their lunar calendar is February . . . Be that as it may, I don't know if we need to be so literal in all cases. Hilary points out that the 8th month means the harvest, and how there is a caution against seeking final outcomes too soon.

Some schools of fang shui believe that mirrors will cause energy to bounce back to where it came from. To get rid of a difficult neighbor you place a mirror facing towards their house. I have advised two friends about this technique. The first one tried it and the the neighbor moved. The second one tried it and the neighbor died.
Hmmm..maybe this belongs on the Curses thread.

Oh I should get that mirror because nothing seems to have changed - last night it was just as noisey again Loud music and alcohol fueled ragings - why oh why can't they go somewhere else than here.

And now this morning as I try to study and work I believe the alcohol is their nourishment for breakfast.

Yes Line 1 - it makes me feel very down and depressed as I'm just so tired all the time.

Line 3 - I don't let the neighbour know of my complaints as it could turn extremely nasty, he is part of a negative group mentality and I could well get hurt.


Other than that I don't know what this means.

I put the mirror in place - things got worse before they got better. They packed up and moved out today. Hallelujah for that!
