Hello,

Ages ago I started using a website called onepageperday.com that was meant to help to build a writing habit. Two weeks ago I tried to log in to the site and, to my surprise, it didn't exist anymore. It only showed a message error and nothing else. Stupid as it might sound, I didn't keep copies of my writing. My computer is old and, for some reason, I thought the files would be safer on that kind of cloud. Of course, I was wrong. I send an email to the address it's shown on the message error, and received a reply just saying “Nothing is lost. I will look into it.” And nothing else. I've written a second email but haven't got any reply, and I'm starting to think I've lost it all for good. I am very anxious about it and I don't even know if I have any rights that I could raise. I guess there's something really wrong in closing down a website without any kind of warning. I asked the Yi what should I do to get my writings back and got:

Hex. 43. 5.6 changing to 14

43.5 seems to call for action and determination, but I have to be careful: not to aggressive, not too demanding.

Hex 43.6 doesn't seem very auspicious. Or maybe it indicates that I won't get my writting back unless I speak up and grasp the nettle, so to speak.
Don't know what to do about 14. May be it just highlights the fact that I value what is at stake?
In any case, try to address the situation in a determined and yet kind way is basically what I've done so far, so maybe the message is that I should try again because, even if the outlook is not brilliant, I have nothing else to lose.
Any help and insight into this will be greatly appreciated. Ia m very sad, since my texts are part of a therapy and mean a lot to me, and I'm not sure about what step to take so I can have them back. Many thanks in advance.

This is my guess here, but it may be that you haven't expensed all of your resources to ask about your writings quite yet in getting them back.

It looks like 43.5 is saying no blame or error in attempting to find a resolution but the way isn't clearly shown yet

I suggest trying to reach out to all resources that the site provides for communication. Like: https://m.facebook.com/onepageperday/

Try to DM and tweet directly at the owners to see if they can retrieve your writings. Shine the light on your inquiries?

With 43.6 however, it looks as though trying these methods may also be a folly just because it looks like no one from the site might ever respond to you. Nonetheless, you can still attempt to do so if the writings are important to you.

14 just shows the knowledge and writings you're trying to obtain again.

This is all of my beginner's interpretation though. I hope that you can retrieve your work.

This is frustrating!
However, maybe there's a way to use it positively.
This line in the Great Learning could be helpful: literally "New day, day new" 薪日日新. Could be read as "Each day a new beginning."
I take this as a message to embrace the new situation (the . Whatever is created new today will be built on prior days, but will be something new, useful, and hopefully ever better. Let the details of past that you've recorded fade and the main lessons coalesce to help you create the new day's world.

Thanks a lot, Vaseline and Tacrab, for taking the time to respond to my thread. I already tried to reach out throught their social media profiles: facebook, tweeter... to no avail. As I said, they replied once saying "nothing is lost", but never replied again. Nonetheless, I'm going to insist, since I can't lose anything. That was my plan from the beggining, but I wasn't sure abot the tone I should use: friendly? demanding? desperate? utterly sad? Pissed off? There must be a way to get a positive reaction, and many others that would cause the opposite effect. I guess I'll go with a kind one. Will improvise until I get sick with it.
On the other hand, Tacrab, your words resonated a lot with me. Somehow, what happened awakened me to a deeper realization of how important it is to me the work I was doing (although, maybe subconsciously I tried to sabotage it- who wouldn't backup their personal files??) And perhaps that realization may be an important spur to start seriously caring for and believing in what I do.
