Progression in a might be relationship

Good Morning all. I haven't contributed anything to the forum other than two questions, the last one fairly desperate, because basically I only discovered the I Ching a few months ago, so I don't know that much, but we now have a ongoing relationship with each other!!! I now seem to have come out of the valley and am even loving myself enough to express love to someoneelse, and this is the problem. X's response to my declaration has been, for me at least, bizarre, as if I stabbed him instead of just proclaiming love!!! Cold, not talking, then talking tentatively, now just minimal responses to questions; (we have a work relationship so it is sometimes necessary for me to contact him. Before my revelation he would always respond with chit chat as well as the response to my question about work, now just one line responses.) In my desperate state last week and the weeks before I asked I Ching many, possibly too many, questions, in a flood of tears.The answers were positive, from what I could understand, and sometimes confusing for me.(too many questions in desperation probably) In my new found state of non-self-loathing, I asked again about our future, since I have this GUT feeling that there is something there, but there is resistance. I asked 5 questions this morning, I need to know what direction to take now with him.
1. How does he feel about me now
hex 10.1,4=59

2.What will happen if I contact him before Christmas to talk about our situation
12.4=20

3. What will happen if I don't contact him before etc...
52.6=15
(yesterday I asked about what he felt about me when he thought of me and got 15 unchanging)

Not quite understanding the answers to 2 and 3 I asked
4. What if I call him today to have a drink and talk
34.4,5=5

and last
5. How does he see our future?
27.6=24
This gut feeling is keeping me hopefu, but not desperate, I just wish he would stay out of my dreams and stop talking to me in them if there is nothing shaking, but he is always there, even my great-grandmother who has been dead for 25 years had a talk with him in my dream, acting as a kind of marriage counselor Strange huh? And his dead fathe r as well turned up in a dream ( i never meet him, but I knew it was him and he wasn't happy, nor was my mother, who turned up violently trying to seperate us? I know this is all strange, but I do believe in these things and the conversations) So after this long intro any ideas guys and gals

I am no expert on the IC, but the feeling I get from these readings is that you definitely caught him by surprise. Regarding whether to contact him before Christmas or not, I get the feeling that 52.6 is more positive, so I would interpret that as it's best not to contact him now. At least not for talking about the "situation". Maybe it's a good idea to contact him and see him but without mentioning the new twist. See where things go naturally from here. You have expressed your feelings, I think maybe you need to give the whole thing some time.

I think it's very interesting that you have all these dreams and that you have this strong gut feeling about him. I hope things work out for you with this guy. But if they don't, at least I'm very glad to see that you are emotionally healthier now.

well Lightangel, thanks for the reply; I kinda felt the same way as well, i needed confirmation; FGunny but I don't really know the ends and outs of the I Ching, why it works or anything, I feel the answer when I read the judgement and the lines; I'm trying now to go deeper and discover who the I Ching is, as far as I can know, but the intuition works for me now, maybe because the Ching I don't know enough to understand any other way, like a child being protected until it grows up.
And yes I did catch him by surprise, but I think he knew really but was just ignoring it; It makes sense with his character and he thought I would do the same thing, comfort zone, well surprise, surprise.
One thing that is interesting to me is that in the past, a couple of weeks ago, I tended to get lots of moving lines or none at all, now there seems to be a pattern of one or two lines moving and one or two static, or shall i say non-moving, hex's. Does that mean I'm more stable? or the situation is calming down?
