Promotion! How will i do?

Hello Everyone... In desperate need for some help on this one. I applied for, and was offered a position for manager at the store where I work. It would be a step up, and I would like to take it. For the money and because I think I would enjoy the work much more. It would be challenging though and al lot more room for success and failure. I asked the IC.... "Should I take the promotion," and I got 1.2.3 changing to 25... No experience with these lines. I'm taking this as a go. Line 2 seems to describe my current position quite well. Just one of the gang there really, but with a little more enthusiasm, a little more goal oriented. Line 3 reads to me like go for it, but be careful. Don't sacrifice your integrity to reach your goal. Don't let being the center of this change you. Makes sense. I read on another thread that line 3 means I will need some help on this upward move. Perhaps I need to solidify the support of the people I work with better. Like I said, I would really like to take it, but do feel a little insecure about the move up. I followed up with, "How will I do as the manager in this store?" and I got what seems like a very auspicious reading. 14 to 35, so 14.1.2.3 to 35. Seems to reiterate the warning of line 3 of hexagram 1 here with line 1, which says, "No interaction with what is harmful." Line 2, lots of stuff to move, literally and figuratively actually... And line 3... I'm not sure what to make of that here... Don't worry about it maybe? I am such a worry wart... Any ideas or experience shared are greatly greatly appreciated. Am nearly having a heart attack with excitement and apprehension here... Pray for me. Thanks to all

Oh yes yes yes DWF do take the position, you have very favourable casts there.

Re the 1.2.3>25 there are no grave warnings here. I'd say this was a lovely mix of destiny (the dragon appears in the field, line 2) combined with sheer luck, hex 25...and of course I do think this cast shows you really are the right person for the job. Fate has appointed you....the sun shines benignly on the Ferrett I mean 25 is about being true to your nature as well as all those things that just seems to happen for good or ill in life that we have to deal with. So you have one of those things to deal with, you were in the right time at the right place and are the right person. The thing with 1.3 is it can give you some sleepless nights. When the dragon is on the move, the Creative moves through you and your life, then you may find you are burning the candle both ends. This is somewhat unavoidable....so don't worry about it if you get to feel a bit hyper....with 1.3 you will feel hyper but that's okay. If you get to feel a bit frazzled, excited and it will be challenging...as if there's too much going on. 1.3 can reassure that actually that's okay....it's just a very busy creative time. It's not a sign there's something wrong with you. Hex 25 yes keep on with being as true in your nature as you have been. There was and is no need for plots and scheming and politicking around this job....it is just yours


"How will I do as a manager in this store ?" 14.1.2.3>35 ! You will be wonderful. You must take this great opportunity. In hex 35 you are favoured, you are given opportunity but you need to make use of it. 14 clearly shows you have Possession of all the qualities needed for this post. Yes 14.1 just advises the kind of straightforward innocence of 25 like in previous cast. 14.2...you are on the move, ready to put what you have into action. 14.3 asks 'what can you afford ?' In my experience 14.3 has always said "yes you can afford this", you do have the means to make this work.

I've had nearly 24 hours to let this news set in. And I think I'm going to be very happy with this change... Not feeling quite as insecure anymore. Trojan, as usual, you nailed it! I felt like a round peg in a round hole today, like this job was made for me... A little more money doesn't hurt. I can go buy some pots and pans now, and a garbage can to replace the plastic in paper bag thing I have going on here, and maybe a curtain for my bedroom so I can actually sleep in there... Been on the couch all summer it's so bright in there! Not exactly rags to riches, but rags to new rags maybe.... And that's good enough for me. The important thing is I'm happy, and I am. Thanks again

yes hex 14, all kinds of wealth....you need a proper bed and some proper pans ! Made me realise that my frying pan is 35 years old, everything sticks to it....I should buy a new one but somehow I seem to stick with it

Thanks PG! So far, is going well. Is turning out to be a lot of work, but I am enjoying it, and the people I'm working with are very supportive.... Couldn't ask for more than that! I'll keep you all posted
