I actually did check those threads but it was from a totally different question friend
What about a bit of devotion to those who exert themselves on your behalf ?I see the light in you though obscured by inferior influences we are all geniis but we must rub the lamps of devotion to the True Self(enlightenment)
David, I find that when people who like to portray themselves as left-wing liberals want to express racist attitudes, they often resort to abusive, anti-Muslim statements. It's a convenient way to talk about exactly the same non-white people, without actually mentioning race.Is is perhaps a conflict for you? I mean we know that some of Allah's more fanatic followers hated Buddhist statues so much that they bombed them into oblivion, but maybe not all followers of Allah are the same?
Yeah I mean imagine the destruction that could be listed off allegedly in the name of Christianity. I doubt that would be brought up if someone asked a question about attending church one day.David, I find that when people who like to portray themselves as left-wing liberals want to express racist attitudes, they often resort to abusive, anti-Muslim statements. I guess one didn't catch that I actually had read the response you were speaking of NamasteYes obviously it's a different question it's a different thread which you never went back to and instead just posted another thread. It's most unhelpful to do that. As I said in the other thread would you ask someone directions in the street, they tell you and then just walk on without saying thank you ? If so there's no point in you thinking you are the divine incarnation of whatever it is because you don't respect people's time.

I agree. It's a good thing that doesn't describe me, nor what I was saying.David, I find that when people who like to portray themselves as left-wing liberals want to express racist attitudes, they often resort to abusive, anti-Muslim statements.
I was not making a racist, nor an anti-Muslim comment (nor a 'left-wing' comment either). Far from it!Yeah I mean imagine the destruction that could be listed off allegedly in the name of Christianity. I doubt that would be brought up if someone asked a question about attending church one day.
If someone is not clear of my meaning, they can always just straight-up ask me what I meant (and in the same vein, 'straight-up' does not mean I'm being anti-gay) - and I may decided to respond. That seems a far better approach then just talking about and around what I said, especially when you are misinterpreting what I said, and you are entirely missing the point
People have said stuff 'about' what I said; I feel they have misinterpreted what I said and are making it out to be something else than what it is; and they are making lots of assumptions and statements about me - all without ever really asking me what I mean ...you are well placed to advise people here about the 'better approach' do you.
There's no reason people should spend too much time, when it's not your thread, dancing around you while you make something up about what you meant.
I am not requiring that you or anyone else respond. As to the nature of this thread, to paraphrase Hilary: "suffice to say that conversation (and responses) here is not restricted to topics (that any one person or even a few people) find acceptable." I am not dancing around anything; I'm staying on topic, and only responding to what others have posted.
Do you have any ideas about how Allah would feel about his people using the Yi? Or how he would feel about people follow ancient beliefs that are not fully aligned with his ways?
Is is perhaps a conflict for you? I mean we know that some of Allah's more fanatic followers hated Buddhist statues so much that they bombed them into oblivion, but maybe not all followers of Allah are the same?
(Correction) I too suggest - and would appreciate - if you apologized to me for your inadvertent offense - of accusing me of expressing racist attitudes and abusive, anti-Muslim statements - and you now want to stop. I can go with that.I think you could probably serve yourself best just by muttering something about sorry for any inadvertent offense caused and then hastily dropping the subject
Maybe next time, instead of accusing me first, and then apologizing, you might just ask me what I meant.

I couldn't care less what you mean. I objected to what you said.Maybe next time, instead of accusing me first, and then apologizing, you might just ask me what I meant.
