Hello everyone,

Two days ago I had my (belated) first time with a woman dear to me. We had a wonderful time but I think because of the fear of not doing well and the stress I didn't have an erection. It had never happened to me before and for the last two days, since that night with my girlfriend, I've felt no excitement, as if my body wasn't responding...

The first thing I asked was what would happen the next time we made love. I got this answer: 46.4 > 32

I also asked how to solve this problem. Here's the answer: 17.4.6 > 42

Finally, I asked for a hexagram to symbolize my sex life with this person for the next few months. I got this answer: 30.3 > 21


46.4 : I have the impression that the first answer tells me that things will go well without specifying whether my problem will be solved...

17.4.6 : Concerning hexagram 17, it's funny because the 6th line talks about exactly the same Chinese historical period, about King Wen, as does 46.4. I'm not sure how to make the connection and interpret this answer.

30.3 > 21 : For the last question. For me, hexagram 30 is about passion, which is great for sexuality, and hexagram 21 is about breaking a blockage energetically. The line seems to be telling me not to think too much...

Any advice?

Looking at the names of the hexagrams, I think the answer is fairly obvious.
H46: Ascending/Rising
H32: Enduring

Trigram Earth turns into Thunder by the moving line at the 4th position.
This is about being too distracted/influenced by the situation or the other person. This is also about thinking too much about things that are yet to happen. Trigram Thunder (the Exciting) advises acting in the here and now and not to think about the consequences of action.

H17 is about following, in other words following the situation or your feelings. You could interpret this in your situation as not having the idea of having to perform, but acting according to what the situation "asks" or your feeling tells you.
The nuclear hexagram of H17 is H53, this hexagram is about steady development, processes that take time.

Trigram Lake in H17 turns into Wind by moving lines at the 4th and 6th positions.
This is about feeling oppressed by the other person, thinking the other person is expecting something.
This results in acting on an expectation rather than what is going on in the moment.
Trigram Wind advises communicating, proceeding step by step and focusing on every bit of progress.

In H17.4.6<> H42, the lower trigram Thunder (the Exciting ) remains constant. but the interaction in outside world (upper trigram) is out of balance (Trigram Lake with 2 moving lines).

I'd thought about it but it seemed a too simple to interpretation, however the answer is amusing and maybe the oracle meant it in the simplest possible way and it gives me confidence that it will happen...

Thank you for this valuable advice, it makes a lot of sense because I think I was only trying to impress and satisfy the other person and that meant I put a lot of pressure on myself... without thinking about myself.

Thunder is the Exciting and Fire makes things visible.
