It was a message confronting some issues in the connection. And this person has a tendency to run away from conflict, so they for sure saw it. I was just trying to bring some things to light but the fact that it was a text message might have made them spiral into confusion (since it lacked clarity in tone of voice, body language, etc).Normally 63.2 seems pretty clear to me, don't chase after the thing you have in mind to chase. Which in this case would mean don't send the voice message, you'll hear from the person without it.
However - I think common sense says if you send someone a text message and they haven't responded in two months, and if you can't think of any reasonable explanation for that (can you?) - chances are they missed the message, accidentally deleted it or something.
Plus you asked what would happen if you send it. Maybe it means don't worry if the person doesn't respond right away then, either? Give them some time this time, too?
Yeah I just got to go with what feels right. Thank you for your help.I think your instinct will probably be the best decider. You know the person and your relationship. Plus if you call when you kind of feel you shouldn't, you can't undo that. But if you feel you want to call sometime in the future, you could revisit it.
