I had a cold with a little coughing, feeling unwell, and GI symptoms (all of these have been linked to COVID) a couple of weeks ago. It was thankfully fairly mild. I asked shortly thereafter whether it was the coronavirus.

9.1.2.3.6 Taming Power of the Small > 8 Union (also termed "Holding Together")

I interpret this as yes. Taming Power of the Small = virus (an excellent description, really!). Union = heart, as it is symbolic of the place which holds the body and soul together, the place where they unite. Corona of course means heart.

Seems like a perfect match, no?

I read it as yes, too.
The virus had entered your body which thankfully manged to tame it, return to the normal state despite the temporary unpleasant situation & hold itself together.

I know this is an old thread but I can't help but writing in case it can be useful to someone else and to the OP too... I've been sick for many months now, with symptoms coming and going and so difficult to diagnose, since they are so many for any single illness... For 6 months I thought they were related to my neck and back (slipped discs), for other 3 months I thought it was a sudden diabetes, of which I had all the symptoms but both things have been ruled out by very competent doctors.... tonight I finally asked "PLEASE GIVE ME AN INDICATION OF WHERE THIS SICKNESS COMES FROM... IS THIS JUST STRESS, IS IT MY NECK, IS IT COVID?"

And here you go. I got the exact same reading 9.1.2.3.6 to 8.

The Taming Power of the Small. I agree with Liquidity, it's an exceptional description indeed. So it was Covid. Retrospectively, it makes perfect sense.
Does it mean that we are Tamed by something Small or the we have to Tame something small, though?

Good grief, I've been thinking about this possibility for a couple of weeks now, but reading it here, with the very same cast (and quite an unusual one) is pretty shocking.

The doctors have never tested you for it, GH? That surprises me (not sure why though, since I don't know enough to be surprised or not surprised).

9.1.2.3.6 > 8 is a cast I got the other day when asking about having someone potentially come to help me clean my house because I’ve been having health issues and it’s been hard for me to take out bigger things like boxes to the recycling etc. I had some energy and ended up being able to do a bunch if it myself so I probably won’t do that but when I got the cast I read it similarly, that this person was helping me tame “the small” although to me it was something that felt very big, overwhelming, and challenging. Interestingly, my main reason for asking is that I don’t have people into my home because of COVID. So this thread gave me a little bit of pause! Who knows. Maybe it could also be signaling that my concern would be an issue, even with masking?

As a side note @GreenHazel, your symptoms especially the diabetes-like illness match a very common version of long COVID perfectly that makes sense. And you can’t be tested for COVID past the initial acute phase, although some people can still have high viral presence but it’s not common at all that it would show up on a test, so they can’t just test you for COVID months in because you’re navigating longer term issues that COVID caused. And many people test negative during the acute phase who actually did have it, anyway. Testing months in is not possible at all. It’s being viewed by experts as a vascular disease now, primarily, and a complex one. If you want any references for the people doing the best more current research on this, just message me and I’m happy to send! There’s also a whole group of patients doing COVID Patient-Led and gathering lots of data on common symptoms and so forth. As well as, of course, figuring out together what is helping people the most so far. Sorry you’re going through that. I think it’s interesting that the same cast was received for the initial post that has a mild outcome and in your case that has had a more challenging outcome.

Liselle, Redoleander

thank you so much for your answers and Liquidity, sorry for "stealing" your thread.... I keep writing here in the hope that people with the same doubt (Is this Covid?) will find my experience useful too.

Liselle, I have posted my story in a previous thread
just in case you want to read it, it's a long post though.

I have tested myself for Covid twice, back in March and in November as soon as I started feeling sick; both tests (the quick, antigenic ones) were negative. Retrospectively, I should have done another more serious test such as the molecular one, but I didn't have any fever nor respiratory symptoms, at all. And it was almost impossible to find a place where to do it, there were too many requests. Still, it's been very silly not to insist: having symptoms one never ever had before in the middle of a pandemic should always be a reason to do several tests.
I did have a serum test one month after becoming sick the second time, with negative IgM and positive IgG. I'm vaccinated though, so I will never know if my antibodies come from the vaccine or from COVID.
I talked with my GP doctor last week and she told me that since I've ruled out almost anything else, she thinks it could have been COVID both times (twice).

Redoleander, thank you so much for your words and your offer. I will be very very happy to write you. Thank you!

I think that in your case, this cast is more in the direction of "Taming the Small through Union of Forces", not implying COVID. With open windows, good masks, distance I think you will be safe in this regards. You have all my support for not being able to carry stuff anymore and needing help, I can totally relate. We will be better, you know:) We WILL have our energy back.

As for the link between COVID and sudden Diabates 2 onset I read about it too, just a couple of weeks ago. This is actually what made me go to see my GP.
I don't have Diabetes officially but my glucose levels have been inexplicably high, the diabetologist couldn't work out where those levels were coming from. She diagnosed me with a sudden Pre-Diabetes.

I have so many things that I would like to add but I don't want to engulf this thread further. I also have very little energy these days and some scary symptom that I have to check (yes, vascular ones ;( ) as a priority. But as soon as I'll feel better I want to update my original thread with a follow up because you are absolutely right, there is so many things that are still unknown about this sneaky virus and the more we share, the more we can enhance our chances of winning this extremely hard battle.

Thank you again for your support, it's priceless to me in this moment.
*hugs you*

Thanks, I will :)

Good point about you can't test months later, I didn't think about that. I suppose I more meant why didn't they test at the time, but you've explained that, you weren't having (bad/serious) respiratory symptoms so if testing capacity was a problem...

What a rotten state of affairs you have now, GH. Very much hope things clear up for you (somehow).

I am, thank you Liselle :) With lots (and lots) of ups and downs. It's been pretty crazymaking as most doctors for some reason try to avoid the subject at all costs, so not knowing what you have and feeling so miserable is more than half of the illness itself. My turning point was to find an online community on Reddit where I found literally thousands of people with my exact symptoms, and then having it confirmed with a Viral Panel.

Thank you so much for the support you gave me, they were very dark days.
