Hi, you all might remember that I made a post about the UCSC Agroecology program and getting a scholarship to go.

I was planning to go this September but just yesterday they canceled the program this fall session. They didn’t say when it would be back up and running. I did a reading on the cancellation of the program and got 59 Unchanging.

It’s been a rough 2 years honestly and not really sure where to go from here. My living situation isn’t ideal and I was hoping going there would not only offer a new learning experience but clarity on how to move forward, new community, time in nature and a sense of accomplishment. So there’s a sense of bewilderment and honestly loss.

Then I thought to ask: what direction should I go in now for my continued growth? I got 52.4.6>62

Sounds like stillness and meditation?
Any further insight would be so appreciated.

You mentioned in the other thread you also had another opportunity. Any chance you could still do that?
I was also presented with the opportunity to get a masters paid for ( at a little known university in rural Oregon) through a graduate assistantship that I'd have to be available for in the fall.

I'm not sure the reading says that, though. It could mean just hang on till UCSC offers it again. 62 is about not making any sudden moves. 52 and 62 have that in common - not panicking and not doing anything motivated by panic. You asked what direction to go in and got a very stationary hexagram (52), and one which says, "Going higher is not fitting, coming down is fitting" (62). Neither sound like going in any direction.

But if the Oregon opportunity is still available, I could probably talk myself into thinking it's the thing that's 52-ish. If the UCSC program is going to be all flighty, and the master's program is sitting there solidly like a mountain, not being cancelled at the last minute... but I'm not sure about this at all.

If you've already turned Oregon down then it seems more likely this means stay how you are till UCSC comes back around.

Is there any scuttlebutt about this on the internet? I don't know what to make of the 59uc reading. "Dispersing / scattering"... yes, you know it's been dispersed...

Here's a thread with other people's 59uc experiences which might give you ideas.

A couple of people there mention boundaries being dissolved in 59. In your next reading you got 52, which is about boundaries; mountains are natural boundaries. Maybe it means the boundaries have been dissolved but will re-form, in other words UCSC will get their act together and offer it again, hopefully soon. In the meantime just hang in there.

In hindsight maybe this is what the 40.4 from the other thread was talking about. Don't grasp onto a timetable of when this ought to happen.

Hi @Liselle, thank you for your reply. I already turned the other thing down. There was also a job opportunity that most likely could have come to pass had I not told them about the UCSC opportunity I was considering. So the anger is starting to well up, and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I will take your advice though to just hang in there.

Thanks so much
