What do i really like ?

Hi everyone,

Today I asked the Yi "what do i really like ?"

This question was in the spirit of knowing in which professional field I could blossom and work thoroughly. I have a desire to create my own business and work for myself (I am currently employed in a company that bores me). Only I do not lack ideas but I have no real passion in life unfortunately and I do not know what I like, to do something you like is for me a mandatory factor to succeed.

I have the desire to dedicate myself completely to an activity but I have the real problem in my life of being bored by just about everything. I would love to have this passion or vocation that some people have and just work hard at it.

That's why I asked the YI this question: "What do I really love?"

I received hexagram 36.1.5 > 39

I feel like the answer speaks to something that's a little bit out of the ordinary or out of society's view. Or maybe something that is in front of my eyes but I can't see? (line 5).

I am afraid of hexagram 39 which speaks of an obstacle

What is your opinion about such a reading?

36.1 seems to say you know what your abilities are but no one around you seems to share those values and you don’t feel any particular need to enlighten them.
36.5 Encourages staying true to your values and eventually you will harvest positive results.

I don’t seen 39 as so much meaning an obstacle but more like a reference to the idea that even while you may know what you’d like to see happening, it is a total uphill struggle to try to progress on your own. An omen urging you to find others of like mind to work with.

If I were to try to make up a story to match these hexagrams I would say it reads to me like someone who would like to do something but is discouraged by the mass mindset around him.

With this insight I’d encourage you to look at your various interests and life goals and consider those that are a bit ahead of mass consciousness. Like ideas where others say “It can’t be done”, jump in and do it anyway. This may be something very small at first - like dropping off clothes at a thrift store (even though you know you aren’t going to end world poverty!) - but it will give you a good feeling and as you recognize how this gesture made you feel good you then can repeat it in similar ways and eventually you get really clear on what makes you feel good and then as you start recognizing what it is that is making you happy the path becomes even more and more clear.

Important: 39 emphasizes networking!

Rosada, sorry for my late answer. Thank you so much for this reply. I even talked about it with my psychologist Helped me a lot !
I am pretty sure I need to find partner with the same ideas and mindset, which is not the case at the moment.

Hello,

I asked again the question : In which sector should I create my own business ?

I had again 36. This time 36.1.2.4.6 > 50.
I really don’t get the message the yi want to give me about the environment and the type of sector that would fit to me.
I am afraid of this 36 which is a bad Hexagram. Is it telling me that having my own business isn’t for me ?
