Should we focus on the trigrams?
rosada
Thank you Topal! And everyone else who took this journey with us..
Not sure what approach to take next. Should we focus on the trigrams? Or focus on images and songs? Or maybe take all the line ones, ane then all the line twos and so forth. It's as if I'm seeing a different spin on Wilhelm's final words to 64.6, "If one gets his head wet, he loses it in truth." I feel like this study has wetted my appetite to know more, but now I'm overwhelmed with all the possible new truths!

I would like to see a thread on the lines , a thread where people report personal experiences with the line. I always love to see how lines played out in personal readings.
I'm going to start posting the middle section of Wilhelm, his "Discussion of the trigrams." It's pretty dry but we probably ought to read it and by doing it together we just may be able to stay awake.

Thats a very good idea !!!
One vote to that
There are lots of treasures hidden at the archives. It would be nice to create the space ( open a thread for each hexagram ) so people could post their personal experiences. It would create a very interesting pool , imo. Though I see it not as an organized study, Just a place where people can came and go without time restrictions.
Thanks...and of course everyone is encouraged to post their own insights and witty awarenesses to keep us motivated. I'm going to try to post a page a day so it shouldn't take forever.

That's exactly what WikiWing is . It was inspired quite a lot by Rosada's threads, and the frustration of knowing there were all these gems in the archives somewhere but not being able to find them. So as well as a thread for chat on each hexagram, it also has an editable 'article' for each with a more distilled version of the ideas.
And yes, it is for paying members - but I did just bring the price down... .
